COMFORTABLE HARTWELL LAKE HOME AT GREEN POND LANDING

This comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom lake house is perfect for families. It is situated in a quiet cove, but close to the big waters of Lake Hartwell. This is private property with a gated drive. It is located 25 mins. from Clemson University, 20 mins. from Anderson, SC, 10 mins. from I-85, and 2 mins from Green Pond Landing. The house is right across the lake from Portman Marina where non-ethanol gas is available.
There is a large dock with swimming ladder and easily accommodates your boat. The large yard has plenty of room to run and play and to park your boat trailer. There is definitely room to strike up a friendly ball game, so bring your football or ball and bat.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, and small appliances, but no dishwasher. The great room has a table with seating for 8. There are two additional tables for playing board games and puzzles. The screened porch offers a wonderful view of the lake and is especially nice at sunset. It also has comfortable seating for 4-8. One of the 2 additional outdoor decks has a table with seating for 6. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after lake fun.
Each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen size bed and its own full bathroom. All linens, towels, and wash cloths are provided. There are two daybeds and a pull-out couch in the great room.
There are several restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, bait and tackle stores, a hardware store, and a liquor store within a 2 mile radius.
This is a perfect spot for those attending Clemson ball games, for fishermen, and for families who just want a great place to play and relax.

JOYful time!

So enJOYed our stay! The perfect location if you need access to Green Pond Landing which we did for the Bassmaster Elite Tournament. It is actually in walking distance, so convenient!! Since we were in driving distance from our home, we brought most if not all of our own amenities, but WOW, they had everything! You can show up with nothing because they have it all!! The place was very clean and exactly as advertised and shown, no disappointments. This place was definitely ideal and would be a delight to return in the future. Thanks so much!!

Amazing accommodations near the lake and Anderson amenities!

Everything about this property was wonderful for our family. Great location near Clemson, to visit our Tiger. The view is amazing and so relaxing. The home has alot of wonderful history and very clean. Highly recommend!!

Very comfortable and scenic stay

We loved are stay at this Anderson property. We were there for the BassMaster High School Eastern Open. The place was clean and well equipped for our 6 day stay. The dock is perfect to moor a boat and it is very convenient to the Green Pond landing boat launch. Sally was very nice and checked on us during our stay.

Location

We stayed here for a fishing tournament at Green Pond Landing, and I can’t believe how close we were. Easy walking distance . Check-in was a piece of cake. House is comfortable with an amazing view of the lake. We watched the boats come and go. Would stay here again.

The home was immaculate and well appointed. The owners seem to treat it like their own, rather than as a rental. Walk out your back door to your own dock on the beautiful lake - great for swimming, fishing or kayaking.

Great location

Nice location out of the boat traffic but close to the main body of water. Large yard for parking and very private. Close to grocery stores and Anderson. Would definitely rent again! It would be nice to have tv and wifi but it was also nice to "unplug" our kids.

Perfect Location

Four retired Air Force members stayed here for a week to fish the ABA, Military Tournament out of Green Pond. The location was perfect for either trailering or tying off to the dock. The back porch is where we stayed most of the time catching up and telling stories. The house had everything needed with plenty of room for 4 adults.

Fishermen's paradise

This was our second time staying at this home inn lake Hartwell. Need I say more? Perfeft in so many ways. Parking and th conscience for fishermen is hands down the best! And guess what? We will be back.

THIS PROPERTY IS PERFECT WHEN IT COMES TO LOCATION , PARKING AND OVER ALL PRESENTATION. FOR ANGLERS SEEKING THE ULTIMATE IN POSITIONING , THE HOUSE IS A 2 MIN DRIVE FROM GREEN POND LANDING. AND EVEN WITH THE LAKE SEVERAL FEET BELOW FULL POOL , THE DOCK IS STILL USABLE AND MAKES FOR EASY ACCESS TO THE LAKE AND CHARGING FACILITIES FOR BOATS. Best deal on Hartwell, quite cove and dock

Our small family loved this hidden gem. Yes it’s a 2/2 but the space is wonderful. One big screened in deck looking up the cove and two side porches. Everything was there in its place as Sally described. A/C was ice cold ! We grilled out hand burgers on their grill. We’ll be back😎😎

Great Place On Lake Hartwell

First, Sally and Billy are great! We were able to meet them up on arrival and they quickly made us feel welcomed. The home is well kept, very clean, and comfortable. The location on the lake is great, and having a private dock to tie up to was so convenient. Check in and check out instructions were easy to follow, and Sally is quick to respond during the process. The local community is has a "small town" feel (like where I live), and folks are friendly. There are a few smaller stores, restaurants, a tackle shop, and a marina all within 10 minutes of the house. Overall we couldn't be more pleased with our stay at this location, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Holiday Weekend Getaway!

Our family had a wonderful weekend at the lake house. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at this wonderful home. It was very accommodating for our family of 4. It had a fully stocked kitchen and grill which allowed us to dine in at home. It was very clean. This house is located on over 3 acres of property in a quiet cove with a boat dock that allowed us to keep our boat in the water the entire weekend. The view is immaculate and breath-taking. We went fishing, boating, and swimming. There are plenty of places to grocery shop, dine out at within a few miles of the property. The home has a wonderful story! We got to meet the owners on our trip, and they are very sweet and accommodating. We will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Great Lake Hartwell Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My family of 4 and our friends. We booked this place to attend the Clemson - South Carolina football game and found that it was extremely easy and convenient to get to Clemson. The house is well stocked, absolutely everything you can possibly need. It was great sitting on the porch and enjoying the lake cove and rustic views. They have a huge yard and the 7 of us enjoyed a friendly kickball match before we grilled steaks on Friday evening. The place slept the 7 of us very comfortably. We had 4 adults, a 16, 13 and 9 year old and the boys enjoyed throwing the football around the yard. The owners were also great in providing detailed information on directions and access. Thank You!

“ He caught the Mother”

“WOW”…. Where to begin. The moment you open the front door there is an air of homeyness and that sigh of relief to know that the lake view with glorious sunsets are yours for a short while. There’s no need to pack anything, just bring yourself and the clothes on your back. Never before seen a home so well covered / stocked-for all occasions. Eight year old Grandson caught the “mother bass” those big eyes and the grin on his face could sum up the entire trip as being the best part. Those are what memories are made of!!
