This home is the perfect spot for family vacations, Clemson events/ football weekends, fishing tournaments, or a tranquil "getaway." We are ideally located only 13 miles from Clemson University, 2.5 miles from Portman Marina and Galley Waterfront Restaurant, and 5 miles from GreenPond Landing and Event Center (Home of the Bassmaster Pro Fishing Tournament).
Upon entering the home from the covered rocking chair front porch, you will notice its high pine ceilings and cozy cabin feeling, hosting a spacious and comfy living room and kitchen. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and 55-inch Samsung Smart Television while relaxing in the living area. This home comes equipped with Cable Television, Smart TVs, and Wifi. Enjoy cooking in our well-equipped kitchen, including a double oven w/air fryer, all stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. We also offer many small appliances (crock pot, blender, toaster, etc.) and many extras to make you feel right at home. The dining room showcases multiple windows overlooking the serene view and a large farmhouse dining table and high chair to welcome plenty of seating. There is also an office area with a desk and monitor, and we offer free Wifi to allow our guests a quiet space for remote work or school.
The home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full (tub/shower) bathroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the lower level. The first bedroom on the main level has a King size bed and 40-inch Samsung Smart Television. The second room on the main level has a Queen size bed and a 40" Samsung Smart TV. All bedrooms are large with plenty of space, and the king rooms have space for a pack-n-play or inflatable bed if needed.
The lower level of the home offers the spacious Master Bedroom, with a California King bed, a pack-n-play, a full shower/tub bathroom, and a 37" Flat Screen TV with Apple TV. The fourth bedroom on the lower level of the home has a Full-size bed, a Twin size bed with a twin trundle bed, and a 32-inch Smart Television with Roku. There is a second entertainment/living area on the lower level. This area includes a recreational game room with a Poker Table, Pac Man Arcade Game that includes 14 other games, dart board, various board games, a basket of toys & balls, books, and a comfortable sectional couch/Queen sleeper sofa and 50" Samsung Smart Television. This living area also has a kitchenette with a second refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, sink, and bar. The laundry room on the home's lower level has a Whirlpool washer, dryer, and utility wash sink.
Outdoors has a beautiful wrap-around porch on the home's main level, with 3 dining tables, an outdoor bar area (Tiki hut), and a Weber Gas Grill. On the lower level of the home, there is a covered patio sitting area to enjoy the peace and beauty of the outdoors or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. There is a fun-loving fairy tale two-story playhouse with electricity, a play kitchen, and a tool table for children to enjoy the great outdoors. We provide a Cornhole set, various outdoor balls, a 4 person Paddle Boat, 2 Kayaks, Large Water Pad, several floats and noodles. There is even a special little doggy walk-up ramp for our 4-legged family members after enjoying the large fenced-in yard.
Enjoy a walk to the lake on the concrete golf cart/walking path. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing rods, and Watersport fun! There are also several local boat rental companies conveniently located on Lake Hartwell. We have a newly built dock (2022) that offers a covered slip, an easy entry ladder, and a sundeck with Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs to enjoy sitting at the lake. We have a Paddle Boat that seats 4, 2 Kayaks (Two people and one person), and several adult and child-size life vests. Sit fireside by the lake at our concrete Fire Pit area; roast S'mores, Hot Dogs, or enjoy sharing stories and laughs as you make memories.
Anglers love this property! We offer plenty of room for boat and/or trailer parking, Green Pond Landing is only 5 miles from the home, and there are 2 excellent Bait and Tackle shops right around the corner. We have hosted anglers from the Bassmasters, Junior Bassmasters, and many other tournaments.
There is a 2 car carport and private drive as you enter this beautiful wooded lot. We have plenty of room for parking your vehicles and boat. A security camera is placed on the front porch for additional security while the home is vacant and during turnover; however, we do not keep it on while you occupy the home. The lake level fluctuates on Lake Hartwell and traditionally has lower levels from September into the Fall months. However, the water level replenishes from January - July, and there is plenty of water at the dock for boat access and enjoyment of all the water amenities and activities we provide at the property.
