This cabin is lovely, even nicer than the photos. Our kids loved the swing in the back. There's kind of a little trail very close as well, though not listed anywhere we could find. It's an easy walk to the Deep Creek Drive-In.
We had a wonderful time staying at this location. I had planned a surprise proposal for my beautiful girlfriend and stayed at this magical location with my best friends and family. The weekend was magical, warm, and a fresh new start.
I highly recommend!!

Awe! Congrats, to you and your fiance. We are honored by your important visit. Thank you!
Great home. Very cozy and comfy. Recommend if you’re looking for a nice home. We had a great time. Only issue was the driveway and the parking as we did get stuck. But she let me know the snow had cause some damage before hand. Other than that the home was just what we needed.
This cabin was exactly as described. The place was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all need items and refrigerator worked perfect. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The deck was huge but the heat kept us inside. We opened windows at night, closed them up during the day and cabin stayed cool. The WiFi and TV were awesome. Location is great as it is right in between Big Bear and Arrowhead. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words! Did you leave a pair of tennis shoes and perfume?
My family had an amazing time. Lillian was great and super responsive. They had sleds for sledding in the back of the home. Made it perfect to spend the day in the back sledding snowball fights! House was nice and cozy! She provided firewood for the fireplace! The driveway was very slippery and chains were needed on the road due to the icy conditions. Planning to make another trip in the spring and would definitely like to stay here again!
We loved the place, well equipped/stocked, nice fireplace, comfortable place to hang out for a couple winter nights. Easy check in check out, warm cozy place to be. Very convenient to Snow Valley where the two little ones learned to ski in two days! Note, the day after a snow storm one of our two vehicles (2 wheel drive van) could not get up the icy hill (Encina) with tire cables on the drive wheels; the other vehicle with 4WD had no problems. The second day no problems for either vehicle.
We had an amazing time. I saw the pictures but when you are there it feels just like a vacation home. Right when you open the door feels cozy and smells so good. It has everything you need specially full equipped kitchen, even has some cooking ingredients. It have some furry little blankets for you to get when you laydown and watch TV. The kids play the TV games that they had. When you go to take a shower it has soap, and clean towels. overall it is a great vacation rental. Also when you have a question Lillian replies right away .We'll come back again.
It’s my family’s third winter visiting here and we love this cabin in the woods! My kids now 3 and 6 years old call if the “North Pole House”. It is extremely cozy and clean, and has everything we need to make lasting memories— hot cocoa by the fire, snowmen out on the patio, and beautiful trail within walking distance. Our favorite not so secret spot :)
My family and I moved off the mountain 2 years ago. We recently returned for a family funeral and stayed at this great little gem! Its tucked into a scenic pocket of the mountain in beautiful Arrowbear. The cabin was clean and well stocked with firewood, kitchen cooking neccessities, towels, pillows, blankets and family board games. Easy to find with GPS and good parking. As anyone who has ever lived mountain life knows, good parking is not always had up here ! This property was a warm welcome back for me and my children, and definetely had us missing our home in Rimforest. We would love to return one day......

It was very old school but such a lovely place surrounded by nature definitely would stay again just wish there was more shower amenities I arrived thinking there would be something but had nothing And the stores around are hard to find but definitely would stay again just more prepared
This was our second stay. Everything was perfect as usual. I enjoyed having my coffee out in the porch area listening to the the birds and woodpeckers. We enjoyed the fireplace again too!
Easy to find. This property had everything and then some of what we needed. She labeled everything and had instructions written out in every room. The place was small but felt very large by the lay out. We were so comfortable here we are definitely coming back!
Second stay here and my little family loved it! Super cozy and comfortable. We stay here because it’s so close to Santa’s village, 15 minute away. We got lucky this weekend and got snow, the area out back has a nice slope where we used our sled! Watched the icicles melt and squirrels play.. perfect place to unwind and be with our kids. Hope to be back next year.
Very nice place to stay. My wife and I stayed with another couple. The only issue with two couples staying is there is one room with a queen bed, but the other room has two bunk beds. So this makes a great place for parents with children or if one couple doesn't mind sleeping on the bunk beds. Bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The place is kept very nice. There was an issue with the cable. The volume kept rising and lowering on its own, but it did not happen using streaming services. The place is pretty secluded and very quiet. The neighbors are very nice and helpful. All the appliances and bbq worked great. We recommend this place and will use it again ourselves if we decide to go on another mountain get away.
