We had great swimming, shoreline was a little rocky, so the ladder from the dock was perfect for everyone except for my toddler. Could touch bottom so my 6 year old was in the water non stop but deep enough that I could float if I didn't want to touch bottom. We were able to bring our fishing boat and enjoyed exploring the lake. Living quarters were clean, recently upgraded and lots of room for a small spot. Lots of water toys for the kids and adults for floating and relaxing in the water. Full size fridge and big bbq. Gated deck out the door if you want to keep your littles contained. Owners dwelling on site but enough natural separation that we weren't on top of eachother. Had a great week there!

Thank you so much for the review. We sure hope you will come back again!
This is the second year in a row that we stay at Caroline's boathouse. The location is great, the lake is shallow enough for the kids to swim safely and you have kayaks waiting for you downstairs. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with your family, this is the place. Caroline is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home.
