Very happy , we prepared for the wedding at Tiffany’s, the kitchen needed a bit of work , oven needed cleaning and put all the dishes through the dish washer for a freshen up
Despite gloomy weather, which added to the ambience, it was a great weekend to catch up with friends. Beautiful view with clean, cosy and welcoming cottage. Very highly recommended for you next stay at Maleny.
Weather, which we cant control, was poor but cottage and location were great.Really enjoyed the mix of old & modern in the house.View of Glasshouse Mountains was amazing once the cloud blew away
Great location and amenities, sadly the people prior didn’t wash the dishes properly and we spent a good hour had washing all of the dishes and glasses.
Lovely old character house - with personality. Huge rooms and well equipped kitchen. Shower over bath on a raised platform slightly difficult to negotiate, but well compensated for by magnificent views and lovely peaceful rural atmosphere.
We had an amazing time at Rachael’s place. The house sits on a beautiful block and the view is incredible. The house has a really homely feel and is well equipped for a family holiday. Such a relaxing place. Rachael was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful.
The most beautiful house, gardens and views!
The views are incredible!! What a joy to experience. The house is magical. We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us :)
Very orthentic farm house.Outstanding views of the glass house mountains as far as the eye can see.Plenty of land for a family game of footy or cricket. We didn't want to leave
We spent the Easter weekend here and loved every minute of it. Most of the time we just hung around the house and relaxed, and played board games, cards etc. Sitting out on the back verandah admiring the beautiful view and listening to the sounds of birds (and the cows across the road) was the highlight for me. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We couldn't fault a thing. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. One day we did venture out to go for a wander through Mary Cairncross Park, and then attempted (unsuccessfully) to do some platypus siting. On our last day, after we checked out, we headed into the main street of Maleny for brunch at "Monica's" - it was absolutely beautiful - can highly recommend it too.
All up the stay in this gorgeous house and the surrounds was amazing, we did have a minor issue with the amount of spider webs on all the outdoor furniture and my youngest daughter falling through one of the chairs. We also had a problem last night with water coming in the front entrance with the wild storm we had. My daughters had to put towels at the door to stop it coming inside. It looked like it was coming from the guttering just above the door. For future reference maybe putting ceiling fans in bedrooms or pedestal fans. The smaller bedroom got quite hot even with the air conditioning. But all we had a wonderful stay and plan to return in the future.
This was a lovely house on a sprawling property overlooking the valley! It was an amazing location that wasn't too far to drive from Maleny and about 15 minute drive from Montville. We stayed with 3 young children and their grandma. There was lots of room to run around outside as well as a library and some boardgames and TV to keep them occupied when it rained. The house itself is quite old yet charming and has been well kept and was very clean. There was plenty of blankets and the fire place had some fire starters and tinder ready when we arrived. We stayed in the middle of winter so I should mention that at night it did become quite cold inside. There are 2 split systems in the house and having them blasting overnight and leaving the doors to the bedrooms open manages to take the chill out of the air. The only downside I found with the house was the shower. The shower is positioned over a tall bathtub which is also positioned on a higher ledge from the rest of the bathroom. Getting in and out of the shower could be quite hazardous for anyone who isn't stable on their feet.I should also mention that if you have kids that love to run around barefoot, be aware that there are some nasty low lying weeds in the yard that have seriously sharp spines! Overall our experience staying here was pleasant and I would definitely consider staying here again.
The view was amazing! It was exactly like the photos because the Jacaranda flowers were in bloom. Not having the internet or the TV was challenging for the kids and the FIFA world cup lovers. Overall it was a very relaxing place with clean facilities for the whole family. We will return....
Lovely location with excellent views and amenities. Was nice to disconnect and spend time with the family. Close to town for the necessities but still secluded away.
Absolutely breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Such a delight to wake up to each day. Easy communication with owner.

Why they chose this property
Maleny is naturally beautiful, with plenty of activities like hiking, bushwalking, golf, swimming, fine dining, casual dining and cultural / artist events always at your doorstep. Our house is 5 minutes drive from the Main Street in Maleny. Best of both worlds !
What makes this property unique
Our property is one of the only properties along Mountain View road where the house isn’t butted up against the road due to our flat 2.5 acres, whilst having the same iconic views. We have space and quietness, native animals visiting our property which make us special !
