This precious three-bedroom cottage is loaded with charm and steps from Bay Beach and sleeps six comfortably. The decor is inspired by Ontario's natural landscapes. Guests will love the skylights and patio! All cookware, linens (except for towels) are provided. The cottage is fully stocked and air conditioned with WiFi and dishwasher.
A five minute walk from Bay Beach, this is a perfect vacation spot for families and all travellers! Beach passes for guests are available at the beach entrance. License Number: STR2020-0090

July 31-Aug.2nd 2026. Checking in was easy but arrived in late evening and the AC was off cottage 87 degrees. Place smelled of a musty odour. Turned on AC but realized that it kept turning off randomly and the day before check out noted the clock was wrong on the thermostat hence explains problem. Not sure why host did not set this. I also received an email from the host at 2am check in date that the couch was broken in the center seat and that we needed to be careful when we sit. No offer to fix or replace it. Advised that the guest before had damaged it. There is a wooden deck board at front of house ready to give in so be careful when you arrive. The kitchen appears fully stocked to use. The garbage can is broken as well as the compost lid missing. All the beds are noisy the box springs must be old and the one bedroom there is supposed to be a king bed but is only a double and a skylight on roof impossible to sleep in. The second bedroom a double bed but the room was dark. The third bedroom was a bunk bed with a double mattress on bottom that appeared worn down futon mattress. The bathroom was clean. The outside of the property is covered in weeds from the front of driveway and most of the back yard. There is a BBQ and fire pit sitting area but no cushions on the furniture. The neighbours very noisy until 430 am. I feel that if the owner used a portion of the money charged to fix and maintain things it could be a really nice place. Will not rent again.

A cozy weekend

This is our second time here. It is close to the beach and some very nice restaurants. Friendship trail is close as well and makes for a beautiful bike ride. Between cycling, walking and eating, the weekend flew by.

Perfect Anniversary Destination

We stayed here during the off season for our first wedding anniversary. It may not have been beach weather but the town was perfect. Everything is within walking distance and the community is super welcoming! Coming back to the cottage at the end of the day was welcoming as well. The cottage is homey and warm. We would 1000% stay here again!

An enjoyable getaway

We needed to get away for the weekend. This cottage was perfect. Close to the beach and close to some very good restaurants. The owner is very approachable and is a pleasure to work with. Cottage is clean and the gardens/property beautiful. The bar close by and neighbours were loud. However, I would not hesitate to return here.

Nice location

The location was great. Many restaurants and the beach was very close. The cottage was just ok. I found the beds to be very uncomfortable. The bedroom with the skylight was too bright. I want to sleep in on vacation. The garden was overgrown. I found too many personal items in the cottage. Decluttering would help.
