The house was clean, well equiped and we were happy with the location as we had a car for the 10 minute drive into town. It was so quiet too, which was lovely, Davinia was quick to respond to any queries we had.
The back door that leads to the little courtyard kept getting stuck and wouldn't open and close properly. When we were looking for a property it said it was wheelchair accessible but it wasnt, it was extremely hard to get in and out of the property and i couldn't even access the courtyard. But other than that the property was amazing.
We enjoyed a lovely family holiday in Busselton. It was a big house, great kitchen facilities and Davinia communicated with us throughout. Great base for day trips to the Margaret River region and a short stroll to the beach.
Stay is good close to busso as we have been working round the area...
If u guys r looking for painters that what we do thanks and look forward to staying again
The mattresses on the bunks were thin and I could feel the slates through them. I didn’t sleep well. However, when I contacted the property manager the next day he organised a new mattress for me the same day. I slept much better after that.
We noticed that there is grass growing in the gutters. Didn’t bother us but they may like to get the gutters cleaned so that the next time there is heavy rain water doesn’t come through the ceiling.
The property was well appointed with utensils and consumables (eg diswasher tablets, toilet paper, etc.)
I would stay there again.
Overall a lovely stay except for a couple of details
The property is well equipped with everything. Location was lovely. Plenty of space for small family. Just a couple of things to note. Our concerns were mainly about cleanliness.
Only 1 of the 3 bedrooms had a handful of coat hangers in the wardrobes.
The electric fans supplied were very dusty and dirty. Had to do a bit of cleaning before we used it.
There was a very musty smell throughout the property like it hadn’t been aired in months.
We ended up washing the towels first as they smelled like they weren’t properly dried before being folded.
Everything in the house worked well though. Wifi, streaming services, washing machine, dishwasher. All worked great.

Hi Reggie
Thank you for your review. Sorry if the house smelt "musty" we had the home treated for ants and spiders 24 hours before you arrived so the smell would have been related to that. The girls had also done a top to bottom spring clean the day prior too should the house would have been very clean for your arrival. We had an AC installed in the top queen bedroom the day prior and installed a portable AC in the kids bedroom to ensure sufficient cooling over the hot summer. The fan found was tucked away in the store area of the garage. Sorry if was missed.
Lovely place to stay, great location just outside of town but very well equipped. The house was very clean and tidy and had everything you need. I would stay here again, highly recommended
Great accomodation very comfortable
Had a few dramas getting the oven to work?
Beautiful area not too far out either

Odour issues
The area- Geographe- can really smell awful some days. Apparently it's rotting seaweed. Property listed as air-conditioned, when in fact there was one small split system in the lounge, none in the main bedroom, and 2 stand alone air-conditioning units in each of the upstairs bedrooms, with a large vent duct-taped to the window. Griller didn't work. I had to buy a bowl to serve salad/pasta in as there was nothing except saucepans for that purpose.
Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.
We stayed here with our 4 and 2 year old, perfect little get away, kids paddling beach within walking distance, pub within walking distance with good food (even for kids). Nice quite street, safe enough for scooters and bikes to go up and down without the added worry of thousands of cars passing, Would love to stay here again.
