A little attention would go a long way. House needs a deep cleaning, a refresh of mattresses pillows and sheets, and towels. House is cute just needs some love.
This house was perfect for our family. Each room had a desk to work from and plenty of pillows, blankets, and storage. The backyard and porch are nice (complete with a gas grill), and the neighborhood was peaceful but not far from everything we wanted to do. We were quite comfortable during our stay.

Comfortable stay
Comfortable and well stocked. Quiet neighborhood to take walks in. Could have been cleaned a bit better for guests.
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Neighborhood was quiet and perfect space for our family. It was nice to be so close to trails that we had the opportunity to hike on and get back to the house in a timely manner. The pups enjoyed the stay as well. Thank you.
The owner was friendly and quick to respond to messages. The house was super clean when we arrived. All beds were very comfy (and the full sized bunks were awesome!). The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils...coffee grinder, French press, a waffle maker, Zip lock bags, and wine bottle stoppers for example. We enjoyed most of our time on the back porch and the kids loved rocking on the porch swing. The neighborhood is quiet so it’s great for families!

My family and I recently visited Payson to escape the heat for the weekend, but our experience at this VRBO property was disappointing from the moment we arrived.Upon entering the home, we were greeted by an unpleasant smoky and mildew odor, raising immediate concerns about cleanliness. As we explored further, we found that the floors had not been properly vacuumed and were littered with rocks, food debris, and ants. The walls were covered in grime, the beds were unclean, and once again, ants infested the countertops and baseboards. Additionally, the gap between the fridge and oven was filled with old food, spider webs, and who knows what else.We considered canceling our trip and heading home, but instead, we opted to visit the local Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies, new bedding, and a vacuum. After several hours of cleaning, we finally felt comfortable enough to enjoy our stay. It's important to note that guests should not have to worry about sanitation and cleanliness, especially when paying a 230 cleaning fee. While we appreciated the location and loved Payson, I cannot recommend this property to those concerned about cleanliness or pest issues. Although the nightly rate was on the lower end, we should not have had to buy cleaning supplies to make the space livable. This situation needs to be addressed.

Property location was great but house was filthy and infested with ants
The good: Location and property were great.
The bad: House was filthy. Pots/pans/silverware had mold growing on them and silverware was put away with chunks of Mac and cheese dried on the forks and spoons.
Kitchen was infested with ants. I notified the host and they told me the owner was aware of the ant infestation and needs to do something about it. Both my dogs got severe ant bites INDOORS and had to go to the vet as soon as we fot home. My youngest daughter got 11 huge welts from ants from sleeping on the couch one night.
We were provided FIVE bath towels, TWO washcloths, and only one kitchen towel for six of us for a five day stay. We had to go to Walmart and buy our own.
House was short on all basic supplies- we didn’t have any bath soap, only two rolls of toilet paper for 5 days, and only one roll of paper towels. We had to go to the store and buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, soap, aluminum foil, plastic bags, light bulbs.
When we arrived, Toilet was leaking, kitchen sink leaked, lights were burnt out, porch swing was broken, locks on two doors were broken, and tub wouldn’t drain at all. I called the host. She told me she was aware of the problems and HOPED WE HADN’T NOTICED.
She said they couldn’t be fixed during our stay but would get fixed later. I asked for the owners contact information repeatedly and finally got it after begging. I spoke with the owner and his attitude was apathetic. Nothing he could do about it and he didn’t seem to care.
We had a great stay at this place! It had a lot of amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, fully stocked kitchen, bbq, firepit! We had a wonderful time with our in-laws and two kids. We will definitely be back!
This cabin is lovely! We enjoyed our stay here so much that we are definitely planning on returning to this cabin. When communicating with the owners they respond very quickly. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to feel at home away from home. Nights here are so peaceful!
Would have been nice to have a king size bed though since my toddler always ends up sleeping with us.. lol
Very nice quiet neighborhood. I like how everything is at close distance, shopping center, restaurant’s, recreation and many fun places for all ages!
