Took our teenagers n their friends for their first mountain skiing adventure. Perfect amount of space n bed set up. Spa pool was a necessity for our cold ache bodies.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The house is pretty cool and plenty of space for a large group. Showers are good and plenty of hot water. Kitchen is small and there is no dishwasher even though the note on the fridge says there is one .The couches are barely functional with one in such poor condition you can not really sit on it.Some of the beds are either broken or so uncomfortable you can’t sleep on them. One bedroom leads off another. Not obvious in the pictures. The please was dirty. Needs a good dust and vacuum.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that parts of your stay were disappointing. The dishwasher note has been removed as the property does not advertise one. We appreciate you letting us know about the condition of the couches and beds, and these have been raised with the owner to review. We also apologise that the home was not properly cleaned and that the bedroom layout was not as clear as expected. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Great property and facilities… super comfortable. Bed in the far room by the lounge…. Front RH wooden leg broke. Temporary fix with 2 firewood under the base to prop it up.
If you can find this property which isn't sign posted from the road, navigate your way through the deep puddle on the driveway and then find the key box on the unlit porch you're sure to be disappointed. The house was freezing cold when we arrived, there were cobwebs on the ceilings and the surfaces were grubby. The bathrooms are super basic and the kitchen is completely inadequate for large groups with no dishwasher so all the crockery felt greasy and unclean. The sofas are old, worn out and uncomfortable. The price the owners are charging is way too high for this standard of property. Even the spa pool hadn't been cleaned properly. Good points - close to the Junction so you can escape for the evening, quiet location.
7 family members got together to celebrate in this ideal setting. Perfect position for lovely walks and cafe's. Loved the batch and hot tub on the deck. Beds comfortable. Couches not but nobody minded.
Perfect accommodation for large family or group of friends.
Perfectly located for Ohakune amenities and 30 minutes drive to the snow. The property was lovely and cosy and even though there was a large group of us we didn't feel on top of each other.
