Retirement Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Initially, having to climb 28 steps to bring luggage, groceries and beach gear was an inconvenience. But putting that aside it was amazing. We loved our beach home, The place was clean, large with a comfy bed and a great shower and I can’t forget the view! Perfect!! We were only a few steps away from the sugar beach and ocean. Great pool and location to shops and restaurants! Nice to have a protected place to shelter our rental car as well Check in was easy and any questions were answered quickly. I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate the first few days of retirement! Can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect spot

On the beach, top floor, wide balcony, enormous condo, beach chairs/umbrellas/toys in secure locker, barefoot through entry to beach. Near trolley stop. Sunsets from the balcony. We were able to decompress and totally enjoy our stay.

Great location

Anna Maria has small pockets of restaurants and shops in different parts of the island but not many are within walking distance of each other. Seaside Beach is in an ideal area where you are not far from most by car and one of the larger shopping centers is within walking distance. You have an absolutely perfect view of the ocean and sunsets. Very private.

Winter getaway

Our first time to Anna Maria Island. The property was clean and suited our needs. Gorgeous sunsets off the patio were amazing. The bed was comfortable. As prior reviews mentioned, the carpet is old and the colors are dark. You do have to go up 6 small flights of stairs to get to the unit. It wasn’t a problem for us. Beach chairs are available in a locker downstairs, near the laundry facilities.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The carpet and some of the upholstery were a bit worn and the dark woodwork, tile and cabinetry are dated. Having said that, the unit was very clean and the kitchen well stocked for cooking in, and much less expensive than the properties nearby. The location on the north end of Anna Maria is the best part of the island and this unit is right on the beach with a fantastic view of the beach and the remarkable sunsets!

Stairs and crowded on beach

The unit was nice and the beach was beautiful. The only issues for us was one the stairs we had to climb with suitcases and groceries I thought we were on a second floor in reality the car park was one so the second floor was really like a third floor. The other issue was that the complex is right next to a public access which I assume is why it was so crowded in front of our condo. Other than that it was great beautiful sunsets.

And the condo was perfect for us! It was welcoming and had all the comforts of home and very well equipped with all we would need. We flew and it was so nice that beach chairs,towels, an umbrella and cooler were provided for our use! It made our trip so easy! The location was perfect! We truly enjoyed being right on the beach, but the complex was small. The pool was a bonus for when you want to cool off and relax after a day on the beach. The condo was located on the island where you were only a short drive away from wonderful restaurants. The management company also was very accommodating and responsive to all our questions! We will definitely be back!

Kitchen had no mixer and other things such as a blender. None of the usual things for the beach like beach chairs/umbrella (they had them before when we stayed here 2 yrs ago). Lots of little things that need some repair/updating. The unglazed brick shower may have been very clean, but it didn't feel that way.

We liked this unit much better than Bali Hai(just 2 buildings away). The pool is nice, parking in the shade in a designated spot. Yes, there is a lot of stairs to get to the room, but if your'e in good health, shouldnt be a problem. The unit had everything we needed. There isn't a grill, so we used the oven and stove top a lot. The balcony is REALLY great, pics dont do it justice. Only thing I would change, this a non-smoking establishment. I enjoy a cigar in the evenings, so it would have been nice on the balcony, but to follow the rules I went down to the beach. Thank you for beautiful accommodations!
