Bluewater has expansive to the Poor Knights, Matapouri Bay and Northland Coast to Cape Brett. If you are wishing peace and privacy, in absolute luxury you have found the right place
We are situated 1.2km up a private gated drive. Approx 5.0km from Matapouri Beach & Tutukaka Marina. The property is 6.8 ha with beautiful QE Trust native bush. Bluewater Sanctuary is a 380sqm house set in paddocks and native gardens.
Escape. Unwind. Rest. Make a pizza on the deck with the woodfired oven. Gather and make special memories and tell stories around the warmth of the open fire Brazier. Wake up early to the sun rising to the east and soak in the changing light and cloud formations over the poor knights’ islands, one of the worlds famous diving spots. Roam the property, say hello to the steers in the paddocks and walk the scenic driveway for exercise. Look out for the Hawks hunting the valleys. Bluewater Sanctuary on the Tutukaka Coast is a unique place and an easy three-hour drive from Auckland.
There is an outdoor cedar hot tub to chat and have a drink as the sun sets. As night falls the star filled skies appear and the local kiwis and moorporks start calling to each other.
The house has two lounges, three bedrooms with ensuites, fully equipped spacious kitchen and luxurious bathrooms. Everything you need to have a wonderful family gathering with plenty of room for parking your cars and boats. There is an area for fish filleting.
Bluewater Sanctuary has tank water that is filtered, and UV treated water.

Richard and I fell in love with Bluewater Heights in June this year and decided to make the move to the Tutukaka Coast. We live here with our Springer Spaniel Angie
We run Yoga and health retreats on a monthly basis.
Our local beach Matapouri is beautiful and we love being able to share all this with others.

Why they chose this property

Bluewater Heights has 9 properties off the road. Each property has a portion of QE2 Trust land and we all work on preserving the local native bush and wildlife. We work with QE2 Trust with pest & weed control. We can hear the Kiwis on our property at night and that has won our hearts over on the importance of conservation for future generations. The night sky is amazing for star gazing. You can't beat waking up to the view of the Poor Knights and the peace and quiet.
