Pristine furnishings, beachy decor, and updated kitchen bring a sense of elegance and are beautifully enhanced by the bright walls and large windows. Enjoy breathtaking views of the dramatic coastline and gorgeous sunsets from this five-star home.

Take a seat on the large comfortable sofa and relax by the fire, enjoy the flatscreen TV, or just take in the stunning ocean views from the large windows. Cable and WiFi are included here so you can still watch the morning news or easily look up directions to a nearby restaurant.
Prepping meals is a dream in this gorgeous kitchen complete with updated appliances, crisp white cabinets, and smooth quartz countertops. There's no need to leave the house for meals when you have everything you need to create delicious meals right at home! Also included are a microwave and plenty of cookware and dishes.

There is a full bathroom on the main floor and for your convenience, there is a half bathroom near the entry and also a stacking washer and dryer. So feel free to pack light and have peace of mind that you'll always have clean clothes for the next day's activities.

Wake up to stunning bay views from the bedroom on the main floor. Relax in a comfortable queen size bed and enjoy some privacy by closing off the room with custom made barn doors. Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen-size bed. The angled skylights will allow you to enjoy bay and ocean views as well as see the stars at night as you fall asleep. Both are high quality mattresses wrapped in luxurious linens for a dreamy night’s sleep. This house can comfortably sleep 4 adults.

Between beachcombing, hiking, birdwatching, crabbing, and looking for clams, you can all stay happily occupied, but there's definitely much more to see if you do feel like exploring a little farther out. Fishing charters, more hiking trails, kayaking and much more can be found within 20 minutes of the house. And don't miss out on taking a tour and sampling amazing cheeses at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Whether you unwind by the fire pit in the back overlooking the nearly private beach, take long walks with the ocean lapping at your feet, or enjoy a movie on the large flatscreen TV, the Saltair Cottage gives you all the relaxation and rejuvenation you need from a vacation.

Exactly what we were looking for

It looks just as advertised and ended up being the perfect spot for my mother, daughter and I to spend a few days. We wanted something cozy on/near the water, just in case the weather kept us indoors, so we could still enjoy a view… and this did not disappoint! It’s very well stocked with just about everything you’d need, the beds were comfortable and communication was great. We hope to come back again soon!

A little slice of heaven

We had a wonderful stay in this cute little house by the ocean. It is literally steps away from the sand - any closer and you'd be a boat! The views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the pelicans from the deck. The house was sparkly clean and in pristine condition. The kitchen had everything we needed. They had even laid out a fire for us in the fire pit, where we enjoyed some s'mores. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. Can't wait to come back!

You can't get any closer to the shore, the sunsets are amazing, and we love watching the shallow tidal water or walking down the shore to the bigger waves. So many rental places seem to be wiped of their character and history. These owners have a knack for interior design and comfort. Every detail has been given attention in the kitchen as well as the placement and style of the furnishings. If mobility is a consideration: the stairs to the upper bedroom are steep, and there is no bathroom on that floor. Finally, there is an actual person who is at the ready for our texts if needed! We've already been to Saltair twice. I'm sure we will return.

Any minor issues that have arisen over the years (e.g. this time, the prior renter leaving the TV inoperable by us) are remedied in person within about 15 minutes! Consistently the best service you could hope for. Our stay was wonderfully relaxing, and as always enhanced by seeing others on the beach enjoying water and sand activities. We cherished our time there.

Kitchen was stocked with the essential cooking tools.We opened the skylight windows in the upstairs bedroom, and slept to the sounds of the ocean. The home offered everything we needed for a long relaxing weekend. The only negative is the beach access from property wasn’t as easy as we were hoping for our 80 yr old Mom, however the next day, we took a short drive up to a beach in Oceanside and it was great. Overall, would definitely suggest this property and look at renting again.

Great House

This is a great cute, comfy and cozy! It has a spectacular view and great deck for enjoying it! The beach is great for nice long walks! The beds are comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed this home!!! Tillamook is about 10 minute drive for groceries and restaurant choices. Sarah was great and communicated quickly for any needs.

The location on the bay is great for viewing the wildlife and the tidal changes. The beach access on the property is a little rocky, but there is more than one way to the beach.
