Sunshine Village is conveniently located right down the road from the Vons shopping center and on the free shuttle route. Enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family in the spacious living room complete with cozy pellet stove, flatscreen TV, and WiFi. This 1 bedroom + loft, 2 bathroom sleeps up to 6 people and features a Queen bed in the bedroom, while the loft has a Queen bed as well as a Full bed with bathroom and flatscreen TV. The Sunshine Village complex offers a year-round hot tub, outdoor pool (Summer only), sauna, tennis court and unassigned outdoor parking for 2 cars. NO PETS ALLOWED. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is located close to Vons plaza in Sunshine village, which is very convenient. The 2nd floor condo faces the tennis court and swimming pool, which is nice. The condo is also upgraded and is very clean and nice. The only item to mention is that you cannot safely park in front of the condo's entrance in winter as it's on the main street, and so after loading/unloading you have to move the car to park inside the community, which is pretty close. Also, when you rent via Mammoth Reservations, you get access to Snow-creek club which is really nice.

Bit of a fixer upper

Overall trip to the area was great but this property is in need of some updating and work. New countertop and floors are nice, but the rest of the unit is rough. WiFi didn’t work, called multiple times and management came out but couldn’t fix it so they dropped of a hotspot which worked but was slowwww. I was given a lesson about the internet by the person on the phone, always nice when they make you feel like you don’t belong. pool access code didn’t work had to call again to get a different code, beds have linens that look like they were borrowed from an old 80’s motel, tv upstairs doesn’t work, upstairs bathroom has the loudest fan that shuts off an on. Again the trip was great overall and the unit was serviceable, but the experience with the management company and general condition of the unit compared to the pictures made us definitely not want to rent through them again.

Reviewer Comments: Firest of all, I realize photo’s these days make rooms look larger. The condo was as big as expected. However, the condo started on the 2nd floor and had a loft. The loft didn’t cool down sufficiently in the evening and at night to make sleeping comfortable and there were no fans or air conditioning to help. There was only a fan on the main floor that was no help in the loft. Additionally, if anyone in your party is over 5ft 8 inches, the loft ceiling is too low and you may knock yourself out on a beam. And the slope is also a hazard. When you hang up cloths around a low slope corner, you are likely to hit your head on the way out. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking utinsils, dishes, etc. all you have to do is look for what you need. Bounty paper towles would be great instead of the cheapest ones that are there to use and are useless. The #, 104,suggested a ground floor unit and it started on the 2nd floor. It is loud if you leave loft windows open as it faces a main road thru town. That road is used by loud automobiles until later at night and early in the morning. I suspect those loud autos are driven by locals that know it’s disruptive to out of towners trying to sleep. Overall, I would rent a ground floor unit in the back of the complex but not a 100-140 ever again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was good just a few things that stood out.All of the TV's were unplugged so I had to plug in and figure everything out. The bedroom tv never worked . I had to replace the batteries in 2 of the remotes.The table and chairs on the balcony were filthyI just found that after driving for 6 hrs and getting to the condo, those were things that I personally don't think I should have had to deal with.Also the gate code to the pool didn't work .We had other family at Sunshine village so we were able to use their code .

Unit faces the street, so expect to hear road noise, especially at night. Be prepared to climb a flight of stairs to the unit. The grounds behind the condo (pool, BBQ, picnic area) look nice and are well maintained. Did not enter rec area. Bring a bath mat for downstairs shower (slippery). WIFI was not functional. Office provided Hot Spot unit for interim use.

No "close" parking

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Read directions to unit!! There is no parking right in front as it faces the main street Meridian Blvd. You do have to park off to the side (~75yds) which is tedious when the sidewalk isn't clear of snow (we arrived right after a spring storm and had the reservation office call clear the sidewalk for us). The reservation office also let us know that we can temporarily park to unload in front and drop off passengers before parking which helped but I can see as a hindrance if you're there when there's plenty of snow and you have a lot of luggage/snow gear.It is a beautiful condo with updates. Takes a little while for the place to warm-up since there are multiple little wall heaters to turn on and fireplace is a bit small. Beds are a bit on the firmer side- there are 3 full/queen beds and a couch pull-out. Dishes are a tad hard to get to if you're vertically challenged. We did enjoy the Samsung sound bar that we could connect to via bluetooth to liven the place up with some music or blare the morning alarm to get everyone up early hehe.Another plus is that you're right around the corner from the jacuzzi which is great after a long day of being on the mountain.

Birthday Getaway

This year for my birthday we came to this beautiful town Mammoth Lakes. We stay in a very cute and quaint place. The home was clean and to our liking. However, it does face a popular street and can be quite loud if the windows are open. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed with this vacation rental and here are the reasons why (specially for the price we paid for 3 nights):Internet WIFI DID NOT WORK the entire time! It was a real hassle For my husband that was working remotely and was not able to get his work done.Shower did not work well. Water got cold after a couple of minutes. We literally had to jump in and out!This unit faces the street and parking is all the way in the back of the property, hard access to the cabin and a pain to unload bags and everything else when we arrived with our 2 kids.The second level has an opening that is very dangerous for kids. Not kids friendly!The worst lock to get in the cabin. Very tricky and every time it took us a while to lock and unlock.

I reported their inappropriate and rude behavior to the property management when I returned my keys but was not given much of a response. The receptionist said that villa was handled by a different property management. Regardless I would like someone to follow up with the other property management to ensure a complaint is submitted. As I mentioned to the receptionist we were loading our children into the car when this individual slams our door and more than ounce. When my fiancé told him not to touch our property this person started speaking extremely vulgar and provoking a physical conformation . This person was obviously drunk and unreasonable and because we had children I asked them to continue walking. Please let me knowIf any following up will be done.

Wonderful Getaway with the Family

The property is very clean and they've modernized much of the interior. As others have described, the entry from Meridian is a little strange because you need park by the office, which is right around the corner. Outside of the parking and entry to the property, our experience was wonderful and we would definitely rent this property again,

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived late Sunday evening (8:30ish) only to find that both sets of keys for the unit did not work. Luckily the MMR maintenance man was able to change the lock by around 10:00 (not to happy about that). Unit was okay. It looks nicer than in photos than it really is. The TV was set up through vonage so every 15 mins it would loose reception. Super frustrating.

The condo was very clean and roomy. It is newly remodeled and in great condition. The only complaint we had is that the beds were uncomfortable. Otherwise we had no complaints about this condo!
