Best villa ever

We have been to many villas but this surpassed them all. Can’t really complain about anything. Very helpful hosts, high end furnishings and so well equipped, including freshly cooked food when we arrived. The views take your breath away. Didn’t want to leave.

Holiday in Chania, Kreta

We rented the villa with a couple of friends and their little girl for a 14-day vacation in August 2011. The villa was located nearby the village “Polemarhion”, in a quiet area surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. The nearest beach was about 5 minutes’ drive, so renting a car was useful, even though we spent most of the time at the swimming pool. The house had a beautiful classic décor and it was comfortable and clean, and the owners were very helpful. We were offered complimentary breakfast on arrival (we checked in early in the morning) as well as free beach toys for my friends’ little girl. We had a wonderful time in this villa and we definitely recommend it to everyone!

Perfect Villa for relaxing

If you are looking for a villa in the heart of (what I can only describe as) tourist hell then this is most definitely not the villa for you, however if like us you would like to stay somewhere to rest and unwind then this villa is perfect and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we made the booking Stella was in contact with helpful advice which includes a very well thought out website with some excellent recommendations of places to visit and very good local restaurants (we went to all but one and couldn’t fault any of them). Babis was there to great us as we arrived and checked in on us just enough to be apricated without being intrusive, the villa it’s self is beautifully appointed, the cleaners came every 3 or 4 days and the views are stunning which go all the way from the mountains to the sea, a perfect base for exploring the area or just chilling out and relaxing. Stella & Babis have really managed to get the balance just right between luxury hotel and home away from home & as mentioned by other reviews the attention to detail is perfect; we cannot recommend this villa enough and was by far one of the best villas (and hotels) we have stayed in We will most definitely be back - thank you ever so much Stella & Babis

Amazing villa

This is an amazing villa, that sits in a tranquil location with breath taking views! We loved a lot of attention to details inside. Clean and comfortable setup, a large pool outside and, of course, all of us had a great time in jacuzzi! We spent absolutely fantastic time here and would 100% recommend it to everyone. Thanks Stella & Babis for being great hosts!

Stunning villa, lovely hosts!

We booked Iro Royal villa in west Chania for our honeymoon and it was above and beyond our expectations; it was sparkling clean, well maintained with care and attention to detail and very comfortable. The hosts pampered us with all kinds of treats; we appreciated privacy and tranquility and had a great time at Kamisiana beach and at Falassarna beach (within easy drive). The views from the villa are just breathtaking, more stunning than the photos! We didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely amazing!

Without doubt, Villa Iro has been the best holiday we have had as a family.A luxurious villa of a very high standard, the pool and jacuzzi tremendous, inside absolutely stunning. The location was jaw-dropping, with views of the sea and mountains.Stella and Babis are such super hosts, ensuring our stay was extra special.Our only regret was to only have 10 days.Next time it will be for longer! An absolute jewel in the most beautiful Greek island we have ever been to! Thank you!

Traumurlaub zu Ostern

Wir waren Anfang April 22 in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Ich kann nur sagen das Haus ist genau so wie auf den Bildern und ein Traum. Wir hatten alles was wir uns wünschen konnten und die Vermieter haben sich toll um uns gekümmert, und sogar regelmäßig säubern lassen (was ich von Ferienhäusern so bisher nicht kannte). Leider (und da kann das Haus nichts dafür) war es mit 20 grad zu kalt um die tollen Pools ausgiebiger zu nutzen. Dafür war die Lage super. Wir haben Ausflüge zum reiten ins Deres Horse Center, in eine Tropfsteinhöhle, den Botanischen Garten, natürlich Balos, Chania usw. gemacht, die alle nie mehr als 30 minuten Fahrt waren. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses schöne Haus in Polemarchi fahren, nur dieses mal wenn es ca. 5 Grad mehr hat. Vielen Dank an die netten Vermieter für die tolle Zeit!

Just PERFECT!!!

We stayed in this villa for one week in late August 2011, and we had the BEST HOLIDAY EVER! The villa is stunning; so comfortable and tastefully furnished! We had everything we needed, and we were pampered with delicious Cretan cakes and pies, freshly cut fruit and vegetables as well as local raki and wine! The cleaning service was impeccable and the location was perfect for relaxation; the whirlpool bathtub next to the swimming pool really made the difference! We hope to come back next year!
