Beautiful home in a great location!
This was a spacious, beautiful home that we thoroughly enjoyed staying in. Whitefish is a great town with lots to do and so close to Glacier National Park. The owners have thought of about everything you could need and more. They were also very, very responsive. We hope to stay there again someday.
Perfect location to enjoy Glacier National Park! We loved the quiet neighborhood, private backyard & the guest cottage. Very comfy with a GREAT bathroom! Town of Whitefish has lots to offer from dining to shopping-- and super close to the ski resort for winter fun. Our summer adventure was wonderful & the house is central to everything we wanted to do!

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for the kinds words. Come see us again soon!
Great location for Whitefish and Glacier Park visitors. The house is well appointed and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. Outside areas are great for morning or evening relaxation. We enjoyed mornings on the front deck-yoga, coffee and bird watching. Wild Turkeys and gold finches were visitors.
Beautiful are only a 45 minute drive to Glacier Park.
I’ve use VHBO many times and have not been disappointed. Pictures on website accurate. The booking and payment very easy. The house was very nice and we were totally pleased.

The Glacier location of this lovely home is an asset.
The property has a serene sense of wonder. We were comfortable and happy surrounded by the care the owner has taken in providing clean and attractive linens, housewares and cooking utensils. We would book this residence again for future trips to Glacier. Communication with the property manager and the owner were timely and of use to us.

Hi Betsy, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "Thank you so much for the kind remarks. We pride ourselves in giving our guests a 5 star experience while staying with us. Please come back and see us again soon!"
Appeared to be completely and newly renovated and updated. The landscaping and outside sitting area was really impressive and greatly added to the beauty of the property. Coffee and can opener was missing and I think it’s important to mention the split level which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for others. Great location for visiting Glacier!

Response from owner: "Thank you for the feedback! So glad you enjoyed yourselves at our home. Come see us again soon!"
We had a really good time at this property. Nestled almost smack dab in the middle of Whitefish, Kalispell, and Columbia Falls, this home was the perfect launch point for any direction we wanted to go. Fantastic communication with our host quickly cleared up any issue and it was obvious the care they took to ensure our family had what we needed to make the stay more pleasant. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, well taken care of, and had all the accommodations we needed, including a newly installed air conditioning unit. Will definitely use this home again next time we are in the area.

This Whitefish house was perfect for us--3 family members plus a friend who stayed in the guest cottage. The house is roomy, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for preparing family meals. The yard is large and beautiful, with many lovely plantings. The only issue we had was with the bed in the guest cottage, which has lost several of its slats. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

Hi Kari, The owner wanted to pass this along: Thanks so much for staying with us! We fixed the issue with the bed in the guest cottage. Thanks for the heads up, and come back anytime!
We stayed at this home in whitefish for three nights. It was clean and new and a very comfortable place to stay. About 15-20 minutes away from the ski resort in a nice and quiet neighborhood. You can tell the owners took great care of their property, it was nicely updated and decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. We did have a small issue with a very squeaky fireplace fan that was quite irritating. The owner was easily contacted and he got someone out there the next day to get it fixed. Good communication and solution to our problem. Overall it was a great place to stay and we’d come back!
We were a little surprised when we found the house. It was tucked behind a tall hedge. It was a nice surprise when we entered the house. Newly remodeled, clean, well stocked with pantry staples. It was quiet with a nice outside seating area. The yard was a little overgrown, but it was mowed and cleaned up by the weekend. Very nice after that. The only thing I would change is the saloon doors going into the kitchen. My husband has Parkinson's, and it would have been helpful if we could latch the doors open so he could easily enter the house. But we made it work and really enjoyed our stay. We'd go back again.

Good location. Damaged bed/mattress. Poorly managed.
Good location. It’s a nice house but unfortunately poorly managed by the company “Evolve” and property manager “Kitty”. On the first day, we found the bed frame was damaged and contacted both Evolve and Kitty. We slept on the floor for our entire stay. Evolve responded two days later saying that we need to work with Kitty as Evolve is located in Denver and Kitty is the local contact. Kitty responded 3 days later and showed up the day before checkout. She saw that the bed was broken but didn’t replace it. After numerous calls to Evolve for resolution, they refunded us $250 for a stay that we paid $2,000 for. I would avoid booking any house managed by Evolve.

Hi Prashant, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after reviewing your feedback, we’d like to share the following:
- From all of us here at Evolve, we sincerely apologize that our communication and response times impacted your stay. We have a team that checks the Evolve messenger app and replies as soon as we can, but we're sorry we missed the mark this time.
- The delayed communication does not reflect the owner or property and Evolve takes full responsibility. We are increasing our staffing to make sure that we can respond more quickly to guests moving forward.
- The homeowner would like to share that the bed frame has been replaced and they apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay.
- We always work with both guests and homeowners when issues arise and apologize that we were unable to come to the resolution you were hoping for based on the documentation provided.
- We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Right away the owners were very accommodating. Asked for an early check in to fit our schedule and was able to get what we needed. Thanks! The house was very cozy, loved the layout and if we needed an extra bathroom there was one in the mother-in-law space, which was wasn’t needed, but would use in the future. Had a family dinner and the kitchen was well stocked and had enough room with everyone being very comfortable. Would have liked the microwave on top of the refrigerator we thought it would service better there. The beds were a little hard, but slept well and great closet space in the master bedroom. The soft water we had to get use to, but the bathroom with separate shower and bath was nice. The front and backyard gardens were beautiful, but just wished they were better taken care of to show them off. They reminded me of my home. Only 5 miles away from my son’s family so that was a plus also. They live close to downtown Whitefish. Would definitely rent this house again for the convenience and homey feel.

A nice stay
The house itself is nice, and the yard is great! We loved the lights and the campfire at night. Unfortunately, upon checking in we noticed a very strong sewer/mildew smell. We checked all the drains and water as well as dishwashers and fridge with no luck on finding the source of the smell. We opened the house for several hours and that helped, but the smell came back as soon as we closed them. We could never find the source or relieve ourselves of the smell. The bed in the smaller of the two rooms could use replacing or repairing. Every time you moved it creaks and groans, waking you up. Every once in a while one of the slats would randomly come loose when you’re sleeping and the sound of it hitting the wood floor is absolutely terrifying. If these two things were fixed we would give it a better review. We have let the property manager (Evolve) know about the issues, so hopefully they will remedy them before the next guest.

Don’t trust pictures
We stayed at this house for just one night. We were suppose to stay for two but a family member had to have an unexpected surgery so we couldn’t stay. It was past the cancellation time, but thought I’d still ask for a refund or credit since it was a health issue, but apparently I wasn’t getting the responses from the contact. Anyway, I eventually got a no! The house looked nothing like the pics. The outside pic is of the backyard which looks pretty inviting, but the whole yard was very overgrown. I’m sure it was so you couldn’t see a lot of the trash that was around you. The house isn’t in a great area. It’s surrounded by some nice homes but also a lot of dumpy looking places. The home itself did seem clean, however the beds are very low and those wooden frames they are on are an obstacle to get around and the one bed squeaks very loud just rolling over. There are also little steps going into each different room and when you have someone who’s disabled, it can cause some issues. There is also only one bathroom in the main house. I think the ad could have been a little more descriptive on that. That was probably my mistake. Overall, I would NOT stay at this home again!! I think these homeowners that own these VRBO’s need to visit their home every so often so they can access them, but unfortunately, all they probably think or care about is the bottom line!

From the Owner: "Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Apologies for any confusion around your reservation changes. We did not receive notice about your intent to cancel one of the nights, but we’ve reached out to Evolve to help clarify the situation and ensure smoother communication going forward.
Regarding your comment about the photos not matching the home, we respectfully disagree. The listing is accurate, and the photos reflect the space as it is. We’ve invested significantly in our home to offer guests a high-quality experience and feel confident that the value aligns with what’s shown online. That said, we understand that personal expectations vary, and your opinion is valid.
Montana is a special place, but it’s also not for everyone, and that’s okay! We're grateful to host many guests who love staying with us, and we’re always looking for ways to improve based on honest feedback.
Thank you again, and we wish you all the best in your future travels."
The location was absolutely perfect! In between Whitefish & Kalispell. Owners were fantastic with communication. Kitchen & living room are very open, perfect for kids to play! Lots of snow....also deer crossing the front lawn multiple times per day.
Had a nice experience at the listing which was full of thoughtful gestures to make life easy for guests.
