Night Sky Cottages are located on the outskirts of the Twizel township, close enough to be able to easily enjoy the local restaurants and cafes but perfectly positioned to spend the evening viewing the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve.



The 2 bedroom `Kahu Cottage` is fully self contained and includes exclusive use of a Stoked stainless steel double outdoor gas heated bath tub.

Home away from home with extras

Our perfect stay was slightly marred as we did not receive by email, instructions for an entry into Kahu cottage. A small inconvenience.The cottage is beautifully appointed with lovely artwork and photography adorning the walls. Interesting local information to read about and the icing on the cake was to wallow in the hot tub gazing up at the night sky and see the Southern Cross clearly..

Fantastic Property - Highly Recommended!

Stayed here early January, and the property was everything as expected plus more! Easy check in procedure, very clean & tidy, great space for couples to use, and the hot tub was a blessing after a full day of biking! Could not fault this property at all and we highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay to wind down. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks B & E
