New Years Friend and Families Meet up
We enjoyed our stay at Loch Sport. The lake at the end of the street prefect for paddle boarding and kayaking. The Jet Skis able to launch in town and zoom down to where we were plopped on the shore close to the house. Highly recommend a trip to the marina for a meal and drink in the sunshine - you can boat / jet ski to the shore and the front of the bistro with its outside tables perfect. 10 minute drive / 45 minute walk away from the house. 90 mile Beach - far too rough for a swim, but judging by the huge number of anglers it must be a good ocean fishing. New BBQ and big deck great for relaxing and watching the kangaroos. The squishy couches and big TV good for when the weather is poor. Not much to do when the weather is poor - we had some very windy days, too chilly for water sports - so with surly teens be prepared. Mozzies LOVE Loch Sport - we liked the fabric bug spray to keep them at bay. Worked even by the water sprayed on our towels. Unexpected delight - the fireworks and the locals. Beautiful display for New Years Eve which was surprising for such a little place. The locals warm welcoming and all were up for a chat.

Dreadful experience
Prior to arrival, we expereinced constant changing to prearranged terms including dates, price & check in/out times. This was very stressfull and unexpected after so many succefull bookings through stayz. The location of this property was excellent. No linen or towells were provided & not previously disclosed. This was very inconvenient. Blood on several items of bedding. Oven still contained food, filthy & did not work properly. Hot plates on stove worked intermitantly. BBQ broken and dangerous. Staircase light not functional & no ladder to change globe. No batteries in Air conditioner remote. House covered in a thick layer of dust, dirty cupboards & foul odour in kitchen cuboards. Outdoor bins overflowing & dreadful smell - no information about when to put bins out. During our stay, we recieved threatening messages from the owner about how we should use the property during our stay eg parties, alcohol consumption, water use (none of us even consumed alcohol). I elected not to reply to these upsetting messages. For a family holiday we had looked forward to all year, it was very dissapointing and stressfull. It was difficult to arrange sleeping and eating needs for my young child and elderly mother when none of the cooking facilites worked and the bedding was unhygenic with blood. The staircase was vvery dangerous. It was not value for money. Despite the good location, the accommodation itself was very dissapointing especially considering what we paid for it. I reccommend booking elsewhere.

Great place!
Stunning view and a short walk to the beach. Explored the area as National Park is at the entrance to the street. The house was clean and organised with everything functional with shops a short drive away. We had kangaroos visit the neighbours yard too! All up, great location. Would definitely come back. Thanks Geoff and Rina for your hospitality.
