Danielle and Tim were lovely hosts. Very friendly and always there to help.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the country outlook from the unit. Very calming stay.
It was great to walk around the farm property at our leisure!
Beautiful rural setting! Arrived evening in pouring rain, Kym helped carry my luggage and held an umbrella. As a senior I appreciated that, and found Kym and Danielle friendly, kind, warm and welcoming. I'd brought my own food however the fridge was already well stocked. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the property very secure with lots of grassy areas for the dogs to run around. They discovered the cows over the fence sounded similar but very much larger than the ones they were used to seeing on screen :) and also met a few real life chooks :) so very educational for them! :) We all loved our stay on this beautiful, quiet, idyllic property, which is inland but not too far to drive to dog beaches, and we cannot wait to return! Highly recommended! Many thanks Danielle and Kym!
Comfortable, well appointed, country stay. The hosts were available and lovely and not intrusive. The cottage was perfect for us and very roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the furnishings are comfortable. We will be back.
Just what we needed. Quiet, plenty of space for our dog to run. A warm welcoming fire and the fresh eggs a bonus. The cottage was well prepared and equiped with all we needed for our stay.
Comfortable and quiet property for animal lovers and dog/s who are comfortable with other dogs visiting and free ranging chooks

Loved the animals
The hosts had stocked the fridge with farm fresh eggs, ham, bread and muffins and juice. The owner Kim was lovely & kept us stocked up with firewood. There are a few things that need attention, a path from the car to the accommodation is needed but all in all we had a great stay.

Relaxing
Left alone man came and light our fire each evening.eggs ,juice and bacon left in fridge.lovely ,thank you 😋
Was very happy with accommodation. Owners were very nice people. Very generous and kind and bent over backwards to ensure that I was not short of anything to the extent that they gave me food and would not accept payment for it. Arrived after dark and only minor comment would be for more lighting on outside of property so that street number could be more easily identified. Would definitely stay again.
It's a well set up property perfect for pet stay. Free range chickens are gorgeous. Sunk onto the leather lounge and never wanted to get out. We were able to get Thai food delivered to the door via menu log too, which was awesome. The fresh eggs and bacon in tge fridge was also a lovely touch.
The flat was comfy and spacious. Full size fridge with complimentary breakfast. Pool was very welcoming on a hot day and the chickens roamed free. Wasn't sure how the dog would take it and they offered to put them away but in the end everyone got on pretty well. In fact I ended up with a "harem" of chickens following me around at times. lol
Although the location was lovely, rural and quiet the shops were not too far away and the tavern was pet friendly. We had a great short break and would stay again.
Jillibi Cottage has a complete farm stay feeling about it.
The hosts; Kim and Danielle are just wonderful. We didn’t see a lot of Danielle since she was working, but Kim was around more. He is an out of the world chap.
Helpful, courteous and generous.
He gave us some honey ( which I loved ) and barn laid eggs ( which my wife appreciated ).
He even lit the fireplace twice for us.
Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
There was rubble and mess all around the property. It was so disappointing we didn’t bother to look inside. Owner needs to clean up the outside of the building which is people’s introduction to the venue. Most disappointing
Basically you get what you pay for , however that said this accommodation was over priced . Outdated , absolutely filthy floors & generally not clean . The owners who live adjacent to the accommodation have dogs , which we were aware of prior to booking , however there was a lack of transparency on the website about how annoying the dogs were with continual barking extending into the night . Would not recommend this accommodation .
Wow this cottage and the hosts were amazing! We were towing a caravan and wanted to stay somewhere where we would not have to unhitch the caravan. The cottage and hosts were perfect! It was still raining when we arrived and lots of water and mud to navigate through no fault of the owners...the hosts did not hesitate in assisting us unpack and get settled! We were even offered a meal if we did not have any food available! The cottage was very clean and had everything you could possibly want! We are going to make another booking in approximately 4 weeks! Absolutely beautiful surroundings! Treat yourself for a quiet tranquil stay in the country!
away from the crowd watching the morning mist and cows is value , even though a lot of rain we were comfortable and pets were safe. we felt at home with Danielle & Kim
Property poor and communication with owner was lacking.
This stay was booked in may 8 weeks in advance.I received a booking conformation on booking it. Then 1 day prior i received another reminder from stays about the stay but no arrival instructions from the owner.
On arrival the owner was cleaning the flat and didn't even know about the booking and that was at 5 pm.( check in was at 3pm) They asked for about 1 hr to get it ready so went to wyong and bought chinese but was going to cook our diner and when arrived back at 6 .30 pm all looked good.
However,
no instructions on how to operate the TV (Foxtel only) or oven or fireplace.
No wood for fireplace and had a pot plant on it? Obviously they didn't want us to use it but was advertised as a feature of the place. So there was no way to heat the place up! The owners dogs had dog poo every where. We cleaned up after ours and spent 15 mins cleaning up after theirs! The grounds are unkept. Yes it is a farm but everything looked overgrown and unkept. Their was a courtyard we couldn't use due to plants overgrown and mossy pavers you would slip on. The place was cold and with no heating we decided to cut our tip short by 24hrs. The only correspondence i had with the owner while we were there was by email? She never took the time to pop in and see if we were comfortable and needed anything? Additionally the floor in the bedroom and main area is 3 inches out of level so you're always walking down hill and because of this i almost fell over twice

About the host
Hosted by Danielle
I am passionate about farm stays and giving people the opportunity to experience the country and farm life and to enjoy time away from the city and clean air. I am dedicated to providing guests with the opportunity to bring their pets to enjoy the holiday with their owners because I know how important this can be for families to bring their pets along and enjoy time with them too.
Why they chose this property
Our property is situated on 16 acres with creek frontage. It is peaceful and quiet and you might even spot a platypus. It is a great space to enjoy serenity or group gathering where you can get together with friends and not have to worry about neighbours.
