The unit was lovely, well stocked with kitchen appliances, comfy bed - but the neighbours in the units in the same building are noisy (thin walls - you can hear toilets flushing, showers running, people coughing). Also there should be a large message near the front door to ensure you have keys.... nearly got locked out - thankfully we had left the sliding door unlocked. WIFI would be a welcome addition too.

A short stay with a view

This is a very nice unit. The improvements that have been made are well done. Still a problem getting the water temperature right in the shower. Altogether the position and price is right. The ironing board belongs on the Antiques Roadshow. Really!!

The good the bad and the ugly. The apartment is well furnished, quality dresser draws, lounge dining room table chairs etc. Good location with the sea across the road. But let down by the kitchen. The range hood was missing, so no light over the cook top or odour removal. The oven timer didn’t work, the only cutting board was a small square of plastic with bits breaking off. The toaster would burn the toast even on the low setting! On the kitchen plus side there was a good supply of cling wrap, al foil. Other problems were you couldn’t lock the balcony screen door. The TV antenna socket, the top one, is loose and reception would come and go. Needed to get up and wiggle the plug to restore. Being a straight road out front Hoons at night would occasionally use it as a race track. There are locked garages at the rear but no key suppled so I had to park on the road all the time. Having a new car I was concerned about being side swiped. But otherwise a nice place.

Either burns the toast or toasts one side only.

A week at the beach

It was a nice unit with good access to the beach and town. Sadly the weather let us down. My husband was disappointed that he couldn’t access foxtel.
