Dogwood Cottage was adorable. It was extremely clean. Location was awesome. Maybe 1/2 a mile from town. It was in a very quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for our weekend getaway.

We’ve stayed with this families VRBO’s for the last 5 yrs and wouldn’t stay elsewhere. The beds are always comfortable, kitchen well equipped and easy access to enter and exit. If you like to walk it’s perfect to downtown and near fantastic restaurants and pubs.

We never want to stay anywhere but Dogwood Cottage when we visit Black Mountain. The house has everything we need, is close to town, and the property owners are top notch if there are ever any problems. Highly recommend this home to everyone!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Black Mountain to celebrate the wedding of our nephew. The cottage was adorable, clean, well maintained and exactly as described. The location was perfect - very close to the center of town, great restaurants and shops. The cottage had everything we could possibly need. We also loved that they had bidets in the bathrooms. The host was a great communicator and very helpful.

The property was in a good location, easy parking and very well appointed. Beds were super comfy and the cottage has been updated to an high standard.Our only disappointment was the rear porch where we intended to enjoy our morning coffee. The porch was musty and lots of cobwebs and dead insects.

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at Dogwood Cottage. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We liked the convenience of the location to the town of Black Mountain. We highly recommend this cottage and we hope to return.
