About this property
How's the serenity! El Be lakeside bungalow
Gorgeous bungalow beautifully situated on the edge of the lake. Shady location on the north shore with exceptional views of the lake. Step off the balcony, across the lawn and straight into the water.
Huge undercover area for relaxing and enjoying the expansive views of the lake.
The bungalow accommodates four guests comfortably, two in the bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite, and two on single mattresses in the living room. There is an additional bathroom for your visitors.
Fully air-conditioned (split systems in main living area and bedroom).
Well equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, microwave, coffee plunger, blender.
Weber BBQ on the balcony.
Large flatscreen TV with VAST satellite TV channels. DVD player. DVD library. Access to Lake Bennett WiFi for an additional charge.
Plenty of kayaks, paddles and lifejackets plus a big Canadian canoe.
Check in from 2pm. Check out by 12 noon. Keys are kept in a keysafe at the bungalow. We will provide you with the combination/code for the keysafe.
We endeavour to keep costs down by asking our guests to bring their own sheets and towels, and to clean the bungalow before they leave. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided.
If you would prefer to pay for a cleaner please let us know and we will try to arrange a cleaner (subject to their availability) for the extra cost of $100.
If you are unable to bring your own sheets and towels you are welcome to hire ours for an extra $11 per person which covers the cost of laundering.
Regrettably, it is unlikely that I will be able to offer linen hire during peak periods like school holidays, Easter, Christmas and long weekends. This is because we often have back-to-back bookings at these times and there is no opportunity for my cleaner to come in and launder the sheets and towels.
If a cleaner is required at the end of your stay the minimum charge will be $100 (for two hours).
No pets allowed (sorry, lake rules).
We recommend you bring drinking water (Darwin water or bottled water), as we have bore water which is high in minerals which isn't good for kitchen appliances like kettles and coffee machines (and some tummies).

About the host
Hosted by Sharon Scurr
We love the Territory lifestyle, especially camping and exploring the great outdoors. We love our beautiful bungalow and take great pleasure in sharing it with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We enjoy bobbing about in the lake, right out the front of the bungalow, with a few cold drinks. If we're feeling really energetic we will get the kayaks out and paddle across to the island or through the flooded forest. Meals are easy to prepare on the Weber BBQ or in the fully equipped kitchen. If we don't feel like cooking we can always drive to Batchelor, Adelaide River or Berry Springs.
What makes this property unique
There's nothing better than sitting under the shade of our huge verandah or out on the lawn and looking out over the lake. It's a great way to reconnect with your partner or catch up with friends.
