Overall, just an okay stay. Beautiful gardens surrounding the cottage, pool was a nice touch. Towels were old and worn, inside was dated compared to others at the same price. Worst part was the parking; I have no idea how someone is supposed to reverse park down a hill next to other cars and boats with a turn!

Thanks for feedback on towels etc will look to update those - the cottage is just that a holiday cottage so not 5 star interior etc but functional and clean - as for the driveway that’s just what hill properties are like - everyone seems to manage it as did you without incident so I think you comment on that is a little over played. Thanks for staying you definitely seemed to enjoy it at the time.
A beautiful private space to stay next door to Kaiteriteri, spacious and clean with a lovely private pool area. Perfect place to relax for a few days and a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

Thanks Alexandra , was a pleasure to have you stay!
Merv's place was fantastic, including the pool for a nice plunge on a hot day. His back yard is lovely and we loved morning coffee sitting quietly and listening to the birds.
This was a lovely stay - the home is within a 5- minute drive to Keiteriteri beach, the delicious eateries and grocery store there, and the boats taking us to trailheads of Abel Tasman Nat'l Park. The garden is just beautifu and provided a relaxing vibe;each day we really enjoyed sitting on the patio with drinks and food! There is a pool which our young 20's daughter loved "sunning" beside. The home is clean with comfortable. The store in town sold mixed spices which we purchased for simple meal making; plan for the freezer to hold just small frozen treats. Merv was a great host - responsive to our questions, easy check-in and check-out, and we loved chatting with him to hear the back story of their garden and life in this pretty spot of NZ. We highly recommend this home esp for a couple or family with younger kids (one of the beds is full size and best for littler ones!). Bring your beach gear and come over!
Mark was very accommodating and friendly. Room had everything and more. Beautiful views and pool to soak up the sunshine. Short walk to Stephens bay. Lovely garden and outdoor table/furniture. Great for birdwatching and had a local weka we saw a couple times. Overall 10/10 experience and we can't wait to come back!

It is very wrong not to advice the property location and communication opportunity before paiment.
All other things results. Probably it is Bookabatch problem.
Nice, clean, comfortable cottage. Well appointed kitchen and lovely hot shower. Would have been a super holiday if weather had been good. Unfortunately weather beyond anyones' control. Drive is very steep and glad husband had reverse car down to parking spot.
Lovely quiet private setting with everything we needed
The cottage has close access to lovely pool, and is very quiet in a beautiful garden setting. Spacious accommodation with all the necessary items and very accommodating hosts. We had a great stay!
