Relax and enjoy the ocean views from the covered porch, living room , kitchen and master bedroom. Only a one minute walk to 2 beach accesses. You can see and hear the waves as you sit in a rocking chair on the covered front deck. Open concept living room and kitchen with vaulted ceilings. 5G WIFI, 47" flatscreen TV with Amazon Prime/FireStick included or bring your own streaming device. Master bedroom has TV for your streaming devices, bunk room has TV with DVD player and DVD's, broadcast channels including PBS Kids. USB charging stations (bring your own cord). Books for everyone and games and puzzles. Nicely equipped kitchen including icemaker, filtered water, microwave, dishwasher and everything you need to make meal prep easy. Washer/Dryer, central air, ceiling fans in every room, bedrooms have blackout curtains, alarm clocks in every room, large laundry room with room to store your beach gear, foot wash by steps, hot & cold outside shower, picnic table that converts to bench seats for extra seating, covered parking with rear drive access. Lovely little cottage

My husband and I enjoyed two weeks at Oak Island. This little home was perfect for the two of us. Porch was great and location was ideal. Kitchen had everything we needed but wished there was a grill outside. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the island. We would stay here again.

Excellent Location!

Excellent location and no need for a golf cart…. Easy quick walk to beach access. Nice views, great front porch. Would not recommend for larger group/family as the living area is not big (the bedrooms are good size if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/eating at home. Otherwise, excellent stay and had everything we needed. Very clean!

Owner needs to address this property

When we checked in, it didn't even look like the house had been cleaned! Carpets were disgusting, trash not emptied, kitchen sink was disgusting. A cleaning person did come back out & take care of the bathrooms & kitchen, but when we tried to use the vacuum to clean up the disgusting carpets, the carpet attachment wouldn't even work. I addressed this w/the Realty office & they were following up

Close to the beach

Very close to the beach access, with views of ocean. Street was busy to have to walk up to beach access (not ideal for little kids). Mattresses were comfortable. Kids loved the games and DVDs available. Kitchen has bare minimum of what you need, but we weren’t cooking elaborate meals so it was fine for us! This part of the beach wasn’t super crowded which was nice. Loved the hose and outdoor shower! Also loved the picnic table on the front porch- we ate every dinner outside! Rugs were a little worn and stained. Knives were really dull. Master half bath was nice to have but extremely tiny, however I think the pictures show that so we knew what to expect. We didn’t love having to check in at the realty office for the keys, but it was on the way and the people were helpful. Overall it was a good house for us!
