The studio is located just steps away from the broadest and sandiest beach in Waikiki, world class shopping and dining.

The unit is remodeled, fully equipped studio condo with one full bath. Comfortable Queen size bed and mattress to ensure a good night’s sleep after a fun day in the sun.

There is a small, fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, built-in electric smooth cook top and under-counter refrigerator if you prefer to enjoy some of the meals in the condo. Unit has AC, free wifi, wall mounted LCD TV.

You will enjoy beautiful views from your private lanai, overlooking Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, the ocean and Kapiolani Park.

Have your morning coffee, breakfast or afternoon drinks on the lanai and relax while enjoying the views.

You will also have access to the large sundeck with panoramic views on the 10th floor, a large laundry room in the basement, private pool and 24 hour front desk and security and boarding pass printing station.

There are many restaurants and cafés within walking distance from the building to choose from, as well as lots of shopping and nightlife.

Award Winning Teddy’s Bigger Burger is located on the first floor of the building, Starbucks to pick up your morning coffee is just steps away.

There are also many equipment rental shops to pick up snorkeling gear as well as a surf school. ABC and other convenience stores are just minutes away.

The neighborhood:

Outdoor activities are countless from this location. Restaurants and international shopping are bountiful nearby. Fast food to award winning dinning are all walking distance. Enjoy the unique Kapahulu Avenue for dinning and shopping with the locals. Hawaiian food, Hawaiian artifacts and Hawaiian clothing are all available withing walking distance. Two blocks from the public library and a botanical garden and a short distance to Diamond Head Theater or the Saturday Farmer's Market at Kapiolani Community College.

Transportation and Parking:

Bus stop is just steps away from the lobby. You can take the bus pretty much anywhere on the island, it is very convenient.

Parking is available in the building, the daily rate is $35/day, however advance reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. There is also metered parking at the Zoo across the street as well as free parking around nearby Kapiolani park.

Great location!!

We have stayed at the Grand Waikīkī 2 years ago and love the cleanliness of the building and the great location. The only problem for us was the street noise and the loud music from the bar on the 2nd floor.

GREAT STAY

Enjoyed my stay very much. It was close to the venue where my conference was, and had everything I needed. I could hear the music from the night club 2 floors down, but not enough to cause loss of sleep, etc. I had a very minor issue with the TV, but the owner was on it immediately, and it was resolved. I would definitely return.

Beautiful view from balcony

This room has a beautiful view of the zoo and ocean from the balcony. It is a small room but very clean and has a small kitchen and fridge. The location is perfect. Shopping and restaurants are all in walking distance. You can hear the sound of the bar in the building at night but I was so tired that I fell asleep in no time. The sound of the cars and trucks woke me up in the morning just when I wanted to get moving for the day. Overall my friend and I loved the place and would definitely comeback next visit.

The property itself was great and we were well taken care of. Perfect location to get in and out of. Kitchenette made it easy to have meals in the room. The Bar on the 2nd floor went until 2 am every night and the walls vibrated until then....

Great time at a great location

We really enjoyed staying here during our time in Waikiki. The location is great and close to the beach. We utilized some of the free overnight parking at the park across the street. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Charming

Great location with the exception of bus traffic early in the mornings and fumes. Loud music played from the bar 2 levels below us until 1am every morning. Could not close the vintage crank windows. But otherwise it was quite charming with all the amenities you would need for a few days in town.

Perfect property

This property was exactly as listed and all we needed! It was the perfect location and close to everything. We were able to walk to everything in Waikiki. We did rent bikes, took a trolley, and used Uber for the locations further out. The check in process was easy, the host was available to chat even though it really wasn’t needed, check out was easy, and most of all we felt secure at this location. Would highly recommend this place!

Anniversary get away

Beautiful views of Diamond Head from the balcony and beach. Short walk to the beach one ocean with a Starbucks on the corner across the street from the beach. Who could ask for anything more.

We had a wonderful 30th wedding trip to this stress free spot. A great room/studio so well appointed, just bring your bathing attires, casual wear and open the door. Toiletries were there, view and location was super. Great ,friendly staff always there & greeting one. Julia was so easy to reach, we only had one little glitch & it was no problem. Our only minus was the very outdated air conditioning unit that was very noisy & unable to manage position of vents. Highly recommend the beautiful unit & view!

Perfect for our short stay

We wanted to add a few days to a business trip to Honolulu. This was the perfect, non-corporate choice. The place was clean, great views and super close to the beach. Just upstairs from Hula's too! I would stay here again!

Hawaii Experienced

Visiting Hawaii was a glorious experience for my wife and myself. So much to do and the weather was perfect every day. If I were to visit again, however,I would stay in a location that is less noisy and congested. There is a younger element that seems to pride itself on NOISE regardless of the time of day...booming sound systems, motorbikes, vehicle, etc. Aside from that the experience was very enjoyable!

Was clean and bed super comfortable. The only issue we has was the bar two floors below. The music was loud and the bass boom boom boom was kind of annoying but other than that it was great!

Nice stay in Waikiki

Property was as described. Good location, fair price, clean, close to the beach. We would stay here again. Just a note, it does face a fairly busy street and their is a bar on the second floor (VRBO is 4th floor). You do experience road noise and noise from the bar. Not unreasonable, but it is present, so be aware. Thanks for a nice stay.

Loved Our Stay!

This property was just perfect for us! Bed is comfortable, kitchenette was great for light meals and snacking, AC was cold. All very clean. The greatest advantage this property has is it's location. The view of Diamond Head from the balcony is awesome. The beach is steps away. Bus stops are very close by and dining and shopping can all be found within walking distance. It was great being here!

Happy in Paradise

Location- there is no better location than this!!! For me, I felt embraced by the heart of Oahu, soothing sounds, smells and sights!!! How lucky for me hearing the sounds of the animals at the Zoo and music from the restaurants and bars and all the happy people strolling by !! The Condo was perfect for me and the mattress soft and firm at the same time!! Thank You

Nice little place on the 4th floor at the Waikiki Grand Hotel. Our only complaint would be the amount of noise but I'm not sure the owner/host can do anything about that. The street noise is really loud and then the bar on the 2nd floor fires up from 9pm to 2am-- so prepare yourself for the club thumping.

Review

Very small unit. Sliding glass door to balcony is almost not usable as it is very difficult to open. Very noisy area. Bar is two floors below unit plus hotel is on a main road so traffic's starts before 6 am. If a good slider was installed that was soundproof and opened better this unit would be so much better. Location is great in regards to being near all the restaurants, shopping and Waikiki beach.

Great Stay!

Unit was just as described and the overall building and lobby were well taken care of, clean and safe. Front desk staff were friendly. The best hamburger stand of your life is literally downstairs and the beach a short walk. The unit is at the end of Waikiki Beach but super walkable to everything. We did not rent a car and our tours picked us up at the hotel. Because there were just 2 of us, we used an Uber to and from the airport and for further away spots as it was a better choice. The unit came with beach chairs and umbrella and boogie boards which was super helpful. Only 2 thingsI’d suggest is to stock the unit with beach towels, the ones provided were too thin. Lastly, there is a nightclub on the 2nd floor which runs into the wee morning hours. It is loud, but so is the traffic outside. Double pane windows would be amazing, lol, but until then remember you ARE in a city and there is noise. The AC drowns out nearly all of it. The unit is all around fantastic! Communication was smooth and prompt. I’m so grateful to have found it and will definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay, but very noisy!

We stayed for 10 nights. The location was perfect...very close to the beach. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens. The kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed. We were happy to use the beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs...a nice touch! We were disappointed with the hot water situation. It seemed you could have a warm shower in the morning or late evening. But when you got back from the beach mid-day, and wanted to take a shower, there was never any hot water. Our biggest complaint was the noise though. At about 10pm each night the electronic party music would start blasting from Hula's Bar 2 floors below. That would go on until 2am. Starting around 4am, loud refrigeration food delivery trucks would start pulling up on the street below, with loud engines rumbling for up to 45 minutes at a time. That would continue throughout the day at random times. There was also a crazy person living in a 5th floor suite just above and over from us. He would do loud random banging on the floor & walls, usually starting at around 4am every few days, followed by yelling out the window. I went down to the front desk one night at 4am, and Chuck (at the front desk) said the Catholic Charities houses him there, and they can't get him out. Apparently it's been going on for about 6 months! So, in conclusion, it's a great place to stay, but you probably won't get a good sleep. Bring earplugs, as you're going to need them!

Good location, lacking in communication and response, broken lanai door never fixed/compensated for

We stayed at this property for 6 days in March. The unit itself was decent and located in a convenient area to Waikiki. Running trails and nice restaurants close. My biggest issue with the property is that the slider door to the lanai was broken for my entire visit. I communicated the issue with Julia whose response was that she knew it was broken and parts had been ordered. After a single day of have to lift a sliding glass door to get onto the lanai, I texted Julia again to let her know that it was a big issue. Keep in mind this is a 250 square foot unit, so when the lanai is virtually unusable, it gets very small. And you can't enjoy the beautiful view which is a primary reason for booking this property. After I texted her that evening, I heard nothing for the next 4 days until I texted and called her again expressing my disappointment. I understand that issues arise, but certainly some sort of compensation should have been supplied given the inability to really use the lanai. Her only response was to tell me I could have a late check out, which I only needed an additional hour. Overall, the property is a good location though street traffic is quite loud through the window.

Wonderful views, convenient

If you need a luxury experience in order to feel like you’re on vacation, this may not be the place for you. I will tell you the good and the not so good, and manage your expectations. The views for catching the sunrise here are amazing. The sun comes up over diamond head and there is a lush foreground of the zoo. These views are not possible if you’re locked in by hotels such as they are in Waikiki. It’s conveniently located in Waikiki. We rented a car for a few days of our stay and were able to park it safely and for free with street parking on Monsarrat st nearby. We used the Biki app to rent bicycles and rode to the museums and through Ala Moana park, around the zoo and such. It took 5 hours of paid time on bikes. We don’t spend much time at our hotel or in our room! So our room needs to accommodate our vacation, serve our needs. This room was had a functional kitchen, plenty of drawer space, all the necessities expected in a hotel, plus some extra beach supplies. I lived on Oahu for 5 years and I am familiar with how lodging can look dated in the middle of paradise, so I wasn’t shocked but compared to a luxury hotel, I would take this place. I don’t like to be nickled and dimed for everything I need. I was disappointed that parking came with a charge of $20/day but the hotel staff was nice and told us about parking on monsarrat since their lot was full- you must make a reservation!! The pool really needs repair. Not inviting. Spent zero time there. Good thing it’s steps to the beach! The big turn off is noise. The AC is noisy and that helps mask the noise of street traffic that stays busy until 10-12, then the deliveries start at 4am. My husband is sensitive to noise but still when asked if he would stay here again he said yes, he would. The view and location shine.

Great location to lots of fun things to do! Beach is just across the block! Very limited bathroom space was the only issue. No place to put bathroom items that are needed for self care.
