Welcome to our charming one-room cottage, nestled in the heart of Taupō just off Spa Road!

Perfect for 1-2 guests, with an option for a third guest on a roll-out bed, this studio is conveniently located across from Taupō Bungee.

** The shower has been renovated and some furniture upgrades are taking place. We'll update our photos once these enhancements are complete **

The Space:
Discover a comfy queen bed and an open-plan living/kitchenette area, with a separate bathroom/shower for convenience.

The kitchenette features a double hot plate, microwave, kettle, and toaster for your culinary needs. Relax with TV and Wi-Fi, while the powerful heat pump keeps you cozy year-round.

Ideal for couples or a small family, a foldable bed is available for a third guest, ideal for children. Outside, unwind in the spacious, fully fenced backyard with a patio, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an 'al-fresco' dinner.

The Neighborhood:
The cottage is in between two other homes that share the same driveway. The property is within walking distance to shops, a launderette, AC Baths & the famous Taupō Bungy and Otumuheke hot pools, off Spa Road.

You can walk or drive to town to find cafés and supermarkets and Taupō’s retail centre.

Stay 3 Nights, Pay for 2!

Valid Sunday–Thursday this month only. Excludes weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. Free night must be requested when booking. You will need to book the first two nights, and we will reserve the third one separately for you to enjoy.

Guest Rules:

No parties, smoking, or pets.
Keep noise indoors and minimal after 10 pm.

Amenities:

Highchair & cot available on request (cot bedding not provided).
Tea, coffee, and basic cooking essentials supplied (no breakfast items).
Professional linen provided and one body towel per guest (no facecloths).

$200 pre-authorisation hold applies if booking outside Airbnb.
Security camera at front door/driveway only.

Interaction with Guests:
We have a key box and will provide the pin number three days before your check-in date.

Good location for your stay in Taupo

The unit was comfortable enough with the exception of the mattress which we feel needs to be replaced. Very limited outlets as most are in use to service the unit. Otherwise it is well outfitted for basic cooking and had a very nice shower. Location was great.

Used for a Work Trip

Was booked for a work trip, where a colleague and myself did have to trade out, so was really useful to be able to store food. Cooking function was quite good for a small cottage which made it much easier. Was really functional and warm, appreciated the safe off street parking. Quiet area so we were well rested. Plenty of blankets supplied so we were comfortable during a period of very cold weather.

Cute cabin

Comfy bed and great shower and bathroom. We had fun trying to work the stove as we had brought ingredients for our meal instead of going out, trying to keep Covid at bay! We managed it in the end! A good stop off place when travelling from Wellington to Auckland.

Great place for a short holiday

My daughter and I had a great stay here during the school holidays. The location is great for the Spa thermal park, the AC baths and the walk to Huka Falls.

A perfect little getaway retreat

This cute little yellow cottage feels like your home away from home the second you step through the door. I stayed in Taupo for a 4 day holiday and the location was brilliant because it was so easy to find and it was within walking distance of all the essential stores you might need and plenty of attractions nearby! The hospitality was great and the little welcome message with a couple of goodies was a very nice finishing touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay 😊
