Escape to Taupo!

This cozy home offers beautiful views over Taupo, including the spectacular Mount Tauhara. These can be enjoyed from inside with a home brewed coffee or the undercover outdoor deck area, equipped with festoon lights for a relaxing evening.

Park up your vehicle in the secure basement (2 bays) and walk 5-10mins into central Taupo for a coffee/shopping via the well marked walking track. The track joins a lovely riverside/lakefront track. Alternatively, enjoy watching the hustle of town from the deck; the perfect escape to enjoy a break.

The townhouse is private and comfortable, with a great pressure shower, bath and a well equipped kitchen and homely touches for you to make the most of your stay:

Taupō Escape

Extremely well appointed property in walking distance (bit of a hill coming back) of city centre.Taupō is a great base to explore surrounding districts and this property is a great place to stay in Taupō

Loved our stay!! Would absolutely recommend!

Loved our stay here! The host Carolyn is very sweet and communicative, and had great recommendations for places to visit on our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable, it felt like home! The whole surrounding area felt safe, and was just a short walk into town and short drive to attractions like Huka Falls. The parking garage and washer/dryer were appreciated. All was quite comfortable for our short stay, but would absolutely serve longer stays well, also. Loved our time there, would absolutely recommend.

Lovely haven

We loved our stay here! The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is immaculately tidy. The kids were delighted with the chocolate biccies left for them and were very excited to find a stash of toys hidden in the lounge. It is close to the main road out of Taupo which is quite busy but the traffic noise wasn’t too bad. We will definitely be back!

Family Weekend.

We had the best time in Taupo. The home is what made it the best trip for our whanau. I think it had everything you needed and so close to a lot of places in and around town. We’ve enjoyed it very much and will definitely recommend to anyone else.

Beautiful house, extremely comfortable & very well kitted out. Handily placed for all Taupo has to offer, whilst offering privacy & lots of home comforts which made our stay even better. Great spot in Taupo

Lovely modern well-equipped home centrally located. We stayed there with friends over the long weekend and lots of room to accommodate all with spacious living and large decks. Very comfortable and an easy stroll into town to the local restaurants, eliminating the need to nominate a driver. Hosts communication was great and very accommodating, offering earlier check-in. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect modern kiwi bach

A Great Weekend

Arriving late afternoon on an unseasonably freezing day the property was warm and cosy - naturally warm The house is well equipped and very clean. With events on this weekend the nearby road was busy but road noise is minimal Great friendly Communication from property owner with a pdf provided of walking route into town and great local cafes which we did try and they are great- thank you Would definitely stay here again, so close to town a nice short walk

Perfect home away from home

We walked in and were wowed! Loved your Bach and thank you so much for sharing it with us. It was very private and situated close to town! Plenty of space to feel comfortable and spread out. Nice to be able to park ski in garage too. Super warm and cozy. Clean and very well presented with personal touches. Family board Games to use too was a bonus. Definitely staying again.

Perfection

Fantastic property in a fantastic location. We booked this primarily for the garage to store our bikes & golf gear - even the garage was fantastic - loads of room and easily fits car with bike rack + bikes on. Excellent house, very comfortable with everything you need. And we stayed 1 week. Great central location, yes it’s near the road but it didn’t bother us as you are elevated. Great deck, small garden, washing machine and line outside. We’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend. Excellent communication with the owner, who is lovely and very helpful.

Comfy cozy

Very nice modern home in a very good location. It’s a 10 minute walk to the grocery store and about 10 minutes more to the center of town. Although it sits in a cul de sac behind another home with the highway below, it is quiet and private. It also stays warm on colder nights and the two garage bays are a decent size, the third bay holds the dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the morning fog on the mountaintops and the clear skies above the lake area at sunset. Great stay in a great area.

Escape to Taupo

How can I use only a few words to describe our week in this gorgeous house…So many things to love and to take delight in. My first impression as we walked into the house was amazement. Care has been taken in each area; soft carpets, comfortable seating, breakfast nook with chairs, high quality dinner set and glasses. Not to mention the more than ample sets of cutleries. Most every possible utensil needed in a kitchen was there. We really appreciated having coffee, tea, and a variety of condiments in the fridge. The Mohi coffee went down a treat! What a special and heart-warming discovery was a packet of biscuits in the fridge with a special note from Carolyn 😊 The luxurious feeling stretched into the bedrooms with lush bedding and pillows. The dark blinds are great for sleeping in late as well as keeping the heat out. How special were the toys that my granddaughter discovered inside the coffee table! As a ‘plant-person’ myself, the sight of all the precious indoor pot plants made my heart sing. Outside, the bushes of daisies formed a dashing view to enjoy. A shout-out to Carolyn as host and her outstanding Taupo Retreat!
