Great getaway

The little cabin we stayed in was perfect for our May long weekend getaway. The cabin seemed newly renovated, giving it a clean crisp feeling. The view on the lake was spectacular. We really enjoyed our time

Best vacation ever!

The cottage had everything u could need , was clean, modern , comfortable. A/c worked great, beds were comfortable and beautiful view of lake. Overall a great experience. My son and I spent 10 days there and we already miss it. The other people on vacation there were all wonderful and made some new friends. We met Bill, a stand up guy. Thanks for a great time! 👍

Great Location!

Clean Cabin, with all you need to have fun on Lake Kushog with access to paddle board, kayaks. Bill responded quickly to all our questions. Great location for day tripping to Dorset, Halliburton and more !

Never again.

Check in was a nightmare as I was traveling alone w an infant & cars are not allowed near the cabins. You have to unload into wagons (provided) & drag your stuff through gravel to get to your cabin. Property was in a state of construction w material & tools lying around just about everywhere you look. Our cabin’s area was littered w cigarette butts from previous guests. We tried to address the issue w the contact but was told it was Sunday & the cleaners would not be in. The property has a direct view of highway 35 which is blurred out in the photos so be prepared to hear & see traffic throughout the day & night. This place is more suited to people looking to party, not for families. Will not be returning or recommending.

Firehouse cottages

My kids and I stayed in cottage 3. It was very tiny but perfect for us. It was a very great experience! Bill was so friendly too. Our caban was right on the lake with our own deck and fire pit. Grounds came with kayaks canoes paddle board and paddle boats. I was very surprised that the caban had cooking emenities which I wasn't expecting at all! The only downfall was we couldn't enjoy our evening fires as there were raccoons all over which scared the kids. Beautiful sunset over the lake!! Overall very happy with our stay. Hoping to go back!

Perfect Cabin

Had a great time at firehouse cottages. Stayed in one of the 1 bedroom cabins and it was everything as described. Nothing fancy, but a perfect little getaway.

Not quite what I expected

The outside property deck and surrounding area were unswept, leaves, spiderwebs, BBQ was nasty inside. Garbage from previous vacationer was by the fire pit. Bathroom though new still needs to be finished. Beautiful views, would have been nicer in warmer weather

It was fun! Gorgeous view!

Cabin was small and quaint. We didn’t spend much time in it as there is so much to do there at the cottages as well in surrounding area. It was perfect sleeping quarters.
