One Bedroom Island Luxury Cottage located less than 2 blocks from the beach.

Welcome to Flop Cottage located 1 block from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island. Flop Cottage is a ground level half duplex with its own private patio surrounded by tropical landscaping that provides plenty of shade where you can enjoy the heated pool, outdoor shower and Weber grill. Enjoy a day at the beach with the provided beach wagon, chairs and umbrella or relax indoors in the spacious living area. The fully equipped retro style kitchen has bar seating for 4 and is open to the living area for easy entertaining. In the evening you can retreat to the bedroom where you can enjoy the comfortable King size bed complete with 600 thread count prima cotton wrinkle free sheets. Linens, towels and beach towels are included in this cottage.

Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is a full-service property manager on Anna Maria Island to ensure our guests enjoy some of the nicest, well stocked homes on the island. For an additional charge, we offer GEM cars among other services. Rest assured we are here to assist as needed in the most efficient manner possible.

While vacationing on Anna Maria Island, please adhere to our local rules and regulations for our residential community which are included in our homes as well as our arrival information.

Important Note: Flop Cottage is not equipped with a washer/dryer. If you need additional linens during your stay, please inform the office and we will gladly provide them for your use.

Cozy stay with a great location

This cottage was adorable and perfect for my husband and I. We’ve stayed in AMI for over 15 years now and I was quick to note how clean everything was (no mold in bathroom and pool area immaculate- which is not usually common!). The cottage is tucked in between the two main roads but perfectly located so that 1) it’s quiet and 2) your steps away from the beach. We had an easy bike ride to Pine Ave. This cottage would really exceed expectations if there was laundry and access to the front room (additional place for items like empty suitcases, husbands golf clubs, etc.) Overall, we would easily stay again. It was a cozy, comfortable, peaceful, perfect stay.

A lovely place

The cottage was charming and very close to the beach. Having a pool was an added asset. I would like to suggest that a small washer and dryer be installed and that more toilet paper and soap be available for the guests.

Great, much needed vacation

This lovely little cottage was the perfect amount of room for my husband and me. I was a little concerned about it being a duplex, but we never heard a sound from the other side of the house unless we were outside. I loved that each side had it’s own private pool/patio area. The bed was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed right there at the cottage. We were just a short walk to the beach, made easier with the wagon provided.
