The unit was very clean and well appointed. The location was directly across the street from the beach and midway between Venice and Sarasota, an area that we are familiar with. The bedroom with a queen and twin was a little tight for two adults and a child but the open space in the living area and the patio made for enough room. We would certainly consider renting this unit again.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here! The unit was nice and kitchen was updated. The screened in patio was a huge plus. It was a great stay with awesome amenities!
It was a so nice to be across the the main beach, we love every second, the pool, the grilling area, the shops, the resturants! Can't wait till next summer😍
The location is perfect for beach lovers. You are just across the street from the public access and best spot to access the beach. There is a crosswalk directly out front when you leave and there is also a trolly stop directly out front of the unit. First floor unit but very quiet at night and I sleep lightly. Internet was very good as my wife and I both worked some and used the wifi in the room. Bedrooms were good and bathroom is fine. We only used the king bed but it was good. We used the other bedroom as one of the "offices" for the week. It is walkable to downtown for the restaurants. We would ride the trolly/frog to town for dinner then walk home every night. Overall a great place to stay.

Meh!
This is my first negative review of VRBO's I have stayed in.
Did the job but not well appointed.
No coffee to greet us.
One roll of toilet paper, just enough to get to the store.
Feet were dirty, dirty when we walked on tile the first day.
Light switch bathroom filthy.
Lamps are junk and dirty.
Beach supplies are old, zippers did not work.
Hoped for a wagon to take to the beach but only found a baby stroller. Coolers were 48 quart,... who wants to carry that to the beach, with lawn chairs and no wheels.. a small cooler should be provided.
One bath towel per person - really!
Bed Pillows were cheapest you could find. Come on!!
** One garbage bag in the receptacle for an entire week!
Newly remodeled,.far cry .. how many years ago? Wood work beat up... etc,... I would suggest the owners to spend a weekend there to easily see the small amenities that can be done to make all the difference for those staying.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback, I will be sure to follow up on all items mentioned. We always want our guests to have a beautiful stay in our condominiums.
We always email our terms and conditions to guests, this information outlines the paper products that are not proved, we start each guest with one roll of toilet paper and paper towel, one trash liner in each can, and starter soap.
Again, we appreciate your review.
We have stayed in numerous properties in Siesta Key, and it’s hard to beat this location, which is directly across from the state park beach. The unit, on the other hand, cannot be rated up to par with the other units we have stayed in for the same cost.
The listing states that the unit was renovated, but this was probably not very recent. We walked into several items in disrepair and quickly reported a few maintenance issues that weren’t addressed by previous tenants or the cleaning crew. Clogged bathroom sink, broken light switch, broken beach chair, broken lampshades, burned lightbulbs and a disposal that leaked water into the cabinet and onto the floor. When on vacation I don’t expect to have to deal with these issues. We were impressed with the help from maintenance, but due to a staffing shortage it took several days of waiting.
The property has a nice pool, though longer term residents often claim the available chairs for an extended social gathering.
The kitchen had plenty of cups, plates, and utensils, but was lacking some of the basics such as potholders, a baking sheet, and large knives. Also, dishwasher pods are not provided in this unit as always in the other units we’ve stayed in. We were told to reread the contract when we asked for some.
All in all, we always enjoy our annual week in Siesta Key. This location is ideal, but we will not return to this unit. For the cost, there was not enough effort put into upkeep and guest hospitality.
This was a great place for our family of 5! Perfect location right across from the beach and walking distance to the downtown area. I’d highly recommend staying here!
Cute complex directly across from main entrance to Siesta public beach access. We walked or rode bikes to both the village and crescent beach area bars/restaurants. Kitchen was equipped with everything, although I’d suggest a new blender (didn’t do a great job). More hooks to hand wet towels and bathing suits would also be helpful!!
Great location, nice amenities, well stocked except toilet paper. One roll of 1-ply paper doesn't last long. The one negative was regarding our golf cart rental. No where in the rules did we see that rented golf carts were not allowed. We rented one for a few days of our trip thinking it would be fun for the family, only to be made to feel uncomfortable about it and have neighbors report it. If rented golf carts are not allowed please add that to your property rules.
