Nestled in the heart of all the summer action, the Yellow Cardinal Cottage boasts amazing views of Lake Erie and "the dock". You are steps away from sandy beaches, the marina, pedestrian pier, splash pads, or a ferry trip to Pelee Island for the area's best wine tours and tastings.

Point Pelee National Park is a ten-minute drive where you will experience one of the best inland locations to observe bird and butterfly migrations. Take a minute stroll to ice cream or a bite to eat, and bring your bikes to take advantage of great bike trails. The cottage is also just a five-minute drive to the beautiful Erie Shores Golf Course, kayak rentals, and go-carting.

This cozy, clean home has two bedrooms, with a large deck to soak up some sun and relax just off the kitchen. Open and airy living, the cottage has plenty of large windows that let in lots of natural light plus great views of the lake. With one large bathroom, laundry room, and another fantastic view of the lake from the primary bedroom. Plus parking for two vehicles.

Excellent location

We stayed here in order to access Point Pelee and Point Pelee Island by bike. The proximity to the ferry made it super easy. Very pretty and clean property with a private patio and extremely well-equipped kitchen. For older guests, note that the upstairs bedrooms have no upstairs bathroom.

Perfect location

Location was spot on. Less than 5 minutes to ferry, beach, restaurants, treats. You could see the ferry and beach from the LR windows. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfy. Owner quickly responded to a minor quest. Highly recommend this home in Pt. Pelee. We were there for Canada Day and the fireworks being lit off a barge in the middle of the Lake were spectacular.

This cottage is in a perfect location for getting to know Leamington. You can go for walks along the boardwalk along the lake. A bandstand shell is just steps away for those time performances are being held there. The beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was perfect for these old bones! Nice and relaxing expect for the ongoing construction. It should be completed soon though.

Beautiful Lakeside Stay

This was an excellent property to stay at in Leamington! It was very central and easy to access all that we wanted to see, as well as being a great base at night. It looks out over the lake and the main pier is steps away, which is beautiful for an evening walk. This also meant it was steps away to get to the ferry to Pelee Island, which was ideal. The only downside to the area is that it does become a bit busy at night, being a popular pier, with locals meeting up and revving cars in the parking lot. That did not go late into the night though so it was still a nice peaceful stay overnight. There was one snag to the stay and it was resolved nicely. An unexpected early heat wave had hit and the air conditioners are window units which were not yet installed. The place was initially a little hot and Kristen was very prompt in responding to our queries. We were quickly setup with fans, and with the windows open getting the lake breeze the place cooled down nicely and was very comfortable for out stay. The kitchen was stocked well with essentials, which made it great for having our meals in. We didn't take advantage of the bbq but it was a very nice backyard that we enjoyed eating in. The upstairs bedrooms have great views and comfortable beds. Overall with the location and the property it was an excellent stay and a well worth it place to pick in the area!

It's the perfect cottage, in the most perfect spot. Perfect to enjoy beaches with warm sand, splash pads for the kiddos, gorgeous sun sets over the lake, watching the Pelee Island ferry go back and forth, and feed ducks and loons as they swim in the marina.
We also provide you with a cottage experience that has all the amenities you'll need to cook or bbq and our place is super clean!
