Hi Ashley, the homeowner would like to share the following: "Thank you so much for your kind review! Our goal is to provide our guests with a wonderful experience. We appreciate you making our home a part of your vacation!"
The condo was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. Newly renovated, especially in comparison to some of the other units. The pool and hot tub were a great place to end the day.
This property was beautiful and very clean. Everything was an easy process and could not have gone any better other than almost getting snowed in!

Overall the place was great. However, we did find a dirty wash rag in the master tub and it didn’t look cleaned. There was also a used loofah in the tub.
This is our second stay at Sugartop resort. We really appreciate the amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna, steamroom) after a long day on the slopes. The condo was well kept and had all needed supplies.
What a week!
Lots of crazy weather but once the winter storm passed after 2 days we got to enjoy amazing 3 days of skiing.
I suggest investing in new towels for bath rooms, kitchen and swimming pool.
Wonderful set up and patio mountain view!
Thank you

Cool place but…
Could really use a deep clean. New towels and pillow cases in guest bedroom. The he balcony is pretty noisy with the shuttle constantly coming back and forth. The master has a TV but it’s not hooked up to anything.

Nice but….
We did enjoy our stay here, but you could definitely tell the owners had a dog. Every time we walked in it smelled horrible. They were also doing renovations on the outside so our view was blocked from all the equipment hanging from the windows and the balcony was unusable because of the renovations.

Hi Lindsey, we're glad you enjoyed your stay, but we're sorry certain aspects fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The owner let us know they have not been to the property in a year. We take the accuracy of our listings seriously and make sure we adhere to the no-pet policy. We will pass this along to our cleaning crew to ensure that this issue does not recur for future travelers
-We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, as such the condo association is working on updating the exterior part of the home, but sometimes external factors like renovations are necessary, unfortunately, we cannot control when they are done, but we are sorry if it made your stay less relaxing
We strive to make our home a great, memorable experience for our guests and will continue to do so!

Nice but…
The shuttle service was great. The Bus over to the Slopes at Sugar Mountain was great! The Condo was clean. The view is pretty. Pool area was nice! The only thing that needed improvement was…Needs more towels! & the complimentary Shampoo, Conditioner & body soap all had water added to them. This can cause bacteria to grow. They really need to buy new stuff & not add water to them to make it last longer! Thank goodness we brought our own toiletries!

Giving 3 star Overall
Communication with the caretaker was excellent but had a hard time staying. Many lights were not turning on, there was no AC and master bath was clogged with water ( not able to take shower 😑). I would rate 2 for cleaniness and 5 for the access to the property.
Nice, but the dark walls make it hard to brighten up.
The accommodations were nice. They have very big furniture in small rooms, but it works if you’re skinny. Dark walls and not enough lighting to achieve the brightness in the online photos. The clouds receded a bit so we could see the mountains. Looks like the perfect ski lodge. Loved the personnel and everyone we met. Was a little surprised that the cleaning fee price included us stripping the beds, gathering the linens, & starting the dishwasher. The exterior of the building is being prepped for paint. May 2023
Our family stayed for an extended weekend vacation in June. We enjoyed it a lot. The condo was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was like new. The bedrooms were a little tight. The beds were really too big for the rooms. Bathrooms were OK. Nothing fancy and a little dated, but clean and functional.
Our biggest complaint (not a big one) is that we had to park a good ways from the condo and take a shuttle to and from our cars. It wasn't horrible, but you have to add an extra 15 minutes or so to your plans when driving anywhere.
All in all, it was a great home base for our mountain adventures. We would definitely return.

Decent Overall
The bed was comfortable to sleep in and this place had the basics. Ok view but it’s just above the loading area so it’s busy. We went the first week of July so we had to open the windows at night and use the fan because there’s no AC. No biggie though. The pictures look nice however, the place is smaller and darker than pictured. There would be room to walk around the bed in the master if they went to a simple headboard instead of the oversized piece they have now. I’m always annoyed when you pay a cleaning fee and they ask you to take out the trash. I wouldn’t go back but the experience wasn’t bad.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING
Not as advertised at all!!!!! Property is dark and gloomy. Not clean for such big cleaning fee. Sleeps 6 yet they only leave 4 towels. Sleeps 6 but only provide one coffee cup to drink from. Pots and pans are so warped you can’t even cook. They advertise pullout couch yet don’t provide sheets blankets and or pillows for the pullout couch. They advertise two parking spots, but what they don’t tell you is you have to park your vehicle at a lower portion of the mountain and take a transportation bus up to the property. There was a snowstorm and they only had one transportation bus .. took over 2 1/2 hours to get to our vehicle with our luggage. Total disappointment in this entire trip will never book at this property ever again. Contacted the owner twice with no response either time.

Owner's response: "Cheryl, We go out of our way to offer exceptional hospitality to our guests. You caught us before some of the improvements had been made we apologize for the inconvenience. - The condo was scheduled to be painted on Monday, it has been completed since. - The couch has been replaced, it does not have any stains on it. - All of the outlets were checked and if needed were replaced. The light has been plugged in and is working. - The chandelier is scheduled to be replaced, however, it is on a dimmer and still works very well and the lighting is adequate. - We provide plenty of extra towels they are left in the guest room in a dresser, if you had let us know we would have been happy to let you know where they were. - The pots and pans in the kitchen have seen some wear and tear but they still work fine for cooking a good meal. - The stove only needed to be pushed over a bit to the right, when it gets moved there is a slight problem with it brushing the cupboard door. We have taken care of this and it is not an issue. - We looked into the shower head and drain and everything works fine the shower head is not broken and the drain works fine. - The TV in the master bedroom is hooked up to Roku which is a streaming device only, if you had let us know we could have let you know about this. - We did not get contacted by you during your time at the condo, if you had contacted us we could have taken care of all your issues and explained how to use things and where you could find the things you complained were missing. We are here for all our guests and will help in any way we can. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can."

VERY comfortable home away from home
Traveled with my husband 13 and 17 year old sons and extra 17 year old friend- was enough room for everyone and building is very sturdy and soundproof! We enjoyed the dry sauna at end of ski day! Tracy in housekeeping answered our questions at warp speed and was very sweet.

And The Clerck Customer Service Unrespecfull When You Ask Questions.
Very noisy construction going on. No AC. Could not open door or windows for ventilation.
Tub did not drain properly. Remote did not work on the TV. The volume was very loud and we couldn’t turn it down. The little fans were noisy. However the property manager was fantastic. The next day we had a working remote, maintenance had the drain working and the contractors had removed the wood keeping the door shut and she found the balcony furniture even though the table was broken. The renters should be told in advance that there is going to be a lot of noise. The stay would have been a disaster without the property manager. We could not have stayed.
Overall the condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The only complaints we had were that the rooms were very small (barely enough room to fit our suitcases) and that there were plenty of lamps, but no lightbulbs. It felt very dark. Also there was not a lot of communication with owner or property manager. We had a lot of questions that didn’t get answered until well into our trip. Also it would have been nice for the property manager to have put the heat on when the temp was going to be 6 degrees upon arrival. We were unable to use the fireplace, so it took a while for it to warm up. Other than those things we enjoyed our stay. With a little effort those things could be corrected for future occupants.
