Super cute house in a very quiet neighborhood with access to everything! The whole house is very stocked but the kitchen is a FULL kitchen! No need to being anything from home!!! Very clean! The hosts were very accommodating! We loved staying here and would definitely come back!
Thank you Bill & Ashley for sharing your home with us! Loved every bit of it, especially the chickens!!!!!
Great property, everything you need and more. Super clean, comfortable, roomy. excellent appliances, everything worked, the stick vacuum was a bonus as we have a husky. Thank you for a great stay.
My family and I stayed at this property for a long weekend beach vibe getaway and it was perfect! The house was clean and has a great open concept for the kitchen and living room. The backyard is nice and private with a fire-pit. We used it both nights! We also took full advantage of the complimentary paddle boards and had so much fun. Its a quick walk to the beach but we still drove and parked at a nearby park. The overall experience was great and we hope to return again next year!
Everything was good, was not easy to unlock the door. Would be good if the front door lock is fixed. Saw lots of earwigs in the rooms. Ie. Bathrooms, kitchen, living Room and bedrooms. Ladies found very uncomfortable. Essentail supplies were very good. Would definitely go back in future.
Location was close to Sarnia and other places and amenities such as groceries. Very short walk to waterfront and beaches and walking trails.
Lots of bedroom space and multiple bathrooms make it a good house for a family with teens or a group of adults. Lots of towels.
Fully stocked kitchen. Furnishings were nice and new and pretty.
Bedding and bathrooms were clean. House needs full spring clean or more regular thorough cleaning to wash cabinet surfaces, windows, under kitchen garbage, backyard litter, under beds, etc.
The curtains on the sliding glass to door to front deck had to be kept closed which made it dark. Kept them closed because a bird lives on the deck and spends all morning pecking the window. There is bird poop all over deck and the window is covered with peck marks from the bird. I think it sees a reflection of the outdoor chandelier and tries to land on it or sees the indoor chandelier, it was sad and dirty. I think a hanging decoration on the window to block the reflection might deter the birds or removing outdoor chandelier. Or atleast cleaning the window and deck regularly would help.
We stayed in march and the house was very cold on arrival, it took about 4 or 5 hrs to get the indoor temp to 71 from 63. The phone number listed in the emailed guest manual was out of service for the property manager. I had to use the vrbo chat to get a response. The response was timely through vrbo. House heated up before any service was required.

Good Stay. Poor service afterwards - $1500 Damage fee charged to wrong guest.
Property is fairly clean although fridge was dirty. Host offered to send cleaner back but we already tidied and put food in. Cleaner said she had to order soap and it was delivered promptly but there was no shampoo. Host said "essential supplies" did not include soap and shampoo and guests have to bring their own?! The listing should be more clear. The problem was after the stay. I was charged $1,500 damage fee when it was the previous renter that caused the damage. Host acknowledged it was HER TEAM's MISTAKE but my credit card was still charged $1,500. I had to fight via email, text, phone calls with host & VRBO to start the refund process. It was very stressful & disappointing 6 days because the issue was between the Host and VRBO, and I'm the victim who is out of pocket. Host finally initiated the refund but it was only for $1,407 and not the full $1,500 amount. VRBO said it'll take 15 business days to process the refund. Host accepted e-transfer when I extended my stay for an extra night, but she refused to respond to my 4 requests to e-transfer me the $93 outstanding refund amount, with no explanation. VRBO now sent me an email on her behalf that she will initiate a refund request for $93. I asked her for confirmation for the $93 refund request but have not received it yet. It's very poor service & disrespectful that the Host resists to give me a full $1500 refund when SHE made the MISTAKE to charge the WRONG GUEST for the damage. I will never rent from this Host.
We had a fantastic stay at this lakeside location! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing all the amenities we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The fenced backyard was a bonus for my Weimaraner, who loves the outdoors. Enjoyed easy access to the lakeside walking and cycling path, where I witnessed breathtaking sunsets over Lake Huron. Kids enjoyed getting in the water and playing on the beach. Additionally, using Uber Eats provided numerous food options. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
A two minute walk to a paved lakeshore trail where you can enjoy stunning sunsets and endless lake views The property was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. A room (more like a studio apartment) for two with separate outdoor access was an especially nice surprise. Our hosts were very responsive and gracious. We also appreciated there were no additional charges to use the 3 bikes and 2 paddle boards. One thing to note is that the beaches in the area are not at all accessible for mobility challenged folks.
Beautiful location to vacation and the property was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The little touches made you feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again.
Great house for a larger family or two couples with a secondary attached apartment. Close to trail, lake and groceries in a quiet community. House is well appointed with modern amenities and appears to have been recently renovated. We would visit again.
Ashley’s property was amazing! The house was well equipped with everything you will need. All the rooms and common areas were very clean. The backyard is perfect for a camp fire. Location is great. Short drive to different beaches. Neighbors are all so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend you stay here.
New to renting so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Listing was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Nice area, quiet.
Would recommend.
The property is located in a beautiful area - walking distance to the beach and park.
It was quite and very comfortable.
