** Beach stair construction project is underway until 2nd week of January, 2026. Welcome to Shorehom by the Sea #45 - a direct oceanfront corner condo on no-drive New Smyrna Beach! This well-appointed vacation home provides gorgeous beach, Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway views from the living room, dining room, master bedroom, and 4th floor balcony. Inside, the condo has been fully renovated and freshly updated with new furniture and decor.

All of our condos come standard with the Florida Vacay Rentals amenities that you've come to know and love:

These items are provided in a limited quantity to get you started on your Vacay. We do not replenish or restock starter kit items after the quantity provided has been used.

Amazing beachfront condo!!!

I can’t say enough great things about this unit and Shoreham by the sea! By far the best experience we have ever had staying in New Smyrna Beach! The place is like out of a magazine as far as design and decorations! Location of the complex is perfect very quiet and peaceful out there but very close to all the great restaurants in new Smyrna Beach!! Love the wraparound balcony and the panoramic view of the beach pool! We will be back for sure!!

Loved our short stay!!

It was a lovely short stay Tommy the property manager was wonderful and very nice. The condo was very clean and up to date. Property is undergoing some updates but it didnt hurt our stay!! The kiddos loved the pool and the easy access to the beach!!

JACKHAMMERING by the Sea

Our family rented this unit from Florida Vacay rentals. We stayed for one week at the end of May. For the price I paid, I expected a relaxing, oceanfront vacation. We received a week of nonstop jackhammering noise from within the building. The noise was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak. A unit in the building was undergoing major construction, M-F, 8-5. Unfortunately for us, we were not given any prior notice that our vacation could be impacted from the construction. The rental company could not move us to another unit and gave us a small credit for our ruined vacation. The apparent lack of communication between rental agent, on site manager and condo owners greatly impacted our vacation in a negative way. I’m deeply disappointed and wish I could have had the week at the beach that I expected.

we had a few issues. Place did not look vacuumed. on plus side Sheets & beds were clean/also towels and plenty of them. Small blender in kitchen did not work. Ants on counter. Living room fan did not work (batteries?) water on kitchen floor from fridge leaking. almost slipped several times. entryway light did not work. 2nd bathroom towel rack and toilet paper holder were broken, shower/tub was dirty. You claim everything is 'clean' under certain guidelines but some disappointments. However, we did enjoy our stay although a bit noisy with construction, but we already knew that at booking.

Nice Condo "BUT"

The condo was nice and in a good location. The beds are alittle worn and could use new mattresses. The construction as noted in listing is very loud and if you are staying in during day will be noisy. The worst part of trip is not only VRBO but the management company that runs the unit. We never received our e-mail and could not check in at 4. On the phone with VRBO for over an hour, yes really an hour and passed around to five different Southeast Asian individuals whose English was terrible who kept referring me to someone else. Each person said they called the number on file for Florida Vacay Properties and no one was answering. I had the same issue till 8:30 at night when they finally called me back and gave me entry info. VRBO tried to get me to stay in a hotel till next day. I have to say because of Communication issue I will not be back at a FLorida Vacay Properties again!

Mostly very good

This property is in a great location, right on the beach. It had what we needed and wanted - in the kitchen and for the beach. The biggest challenge is that there are only 2 beach keys, so it got tricky to let each other onto and off the beach. It would be helpful to have more keys or a keypad so we could get through when we wanted. But mostly it was very good. Thanks!

Great place had a fun time with family at the beach and swimming pool. Nice peaceful stay on the no drive part of NSB. Unit was more then we expected. Highly recommend!

The good stuff and Building issues

The property was located in an obviously older building with some prep underway for renovations. The elevator was apparently in need of repair with signs related to avoiding pressing buttons while moving and such. A bit concerning! The pool and proximity to the beach were outstanding.
