This newly renovated four bedroom home sits on top of a hill overlooking the Chebogue River to the east and farm fields to the west. All four bedrooms and one bathroom are located on the upper level of this two story home. On the main level you will find a large eat in kitchen, comfortable TV living room, additional sitting room for visiting, along with a full bathroom. As you walk through the main level you will come to two french doors leading to a large deck with BBQ and breathtaking views of the Chebogue River and rolling farm hills. An additional smaller deck, off the porch, is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and beautiful sunsets. There is plenty of green space with trees and gardens for families to enjoy. Less than 10 minutes from Yarmouth's shopping district and amenities.

Wonderful spot for families!

We spent a week with our family (2 children and 4 adults). There was lots of space for everyone for sleeping and in the common areas. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies needed and lots of space to store food. Overall everything was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely return again!

Ruthanne and Sheridan’s wonderful home in Yarmouth Nova Scotia

Ruthanne and Sheridan were wonderful host. They were kind enough to meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. The house was warm and comfortable, and we felt like we were at home. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all new appliances along with the washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely lovely!

We cannot say enough good things about this property. The house was beautifully renovated and extremely clean. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The living room had recliners for all, a big hit with our family! There were real plants and flowers both inside and out which I personally really appreciated. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this was by far the nicest! The property and the views were beautiful. It was easy to get to and close to everything. To top it off the owners were fabulous to work with, very responsive.

Perfect spot for our family!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. It is a fully and very tastefully renovated house with a well equipped kitchen. It was clean, bright and very welcoming and we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. The area is quiet, grounds nicely landscaped and is only 10 minutes from Yarmouth. We relaxed on the deck and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at this home to anyone.

We were so happy with this beautifully appointed country home. Our hostess took the time to welcome us and show us around. Beautiful cut garden flowers gave the unexpected touch, which was evident in all they had prepared for us. Pictures really don’t quite show how nice this home is. Our kids raved on the house and stay. My wife felt it was perfect for a relaxing stay. Would totally recommend this for your next stay in Yarmouth!

Cherished Family Christmas

This was the perfect house to host a family Christmas. When we arrived, the hosts had gone above and beyond and had the house decorated both inside and outside. It immediately felt like home. Ruth-Anne and I (Sheridan) purchased the property in May 2019. This property is where Ruth-Anne grew up and I used to visit as a friend 45 years ago. We have been married for 33 years and have two wonderful children, Lauren and Garet. We have been renovating the property for 2 years and finally completed it in July 2021. Our first short term rental was August 5th for a 4 day rental.

Why they chose this property

As mentioned, this property was my wifes homestead growing up. She has always dreamed of owning it one day, but never thought it would be possible. We made it happen, and did alot of renovations ourselves. There is alot pride, joy and sweat equity in our property; so we are quite proud of our endeavour.

What makes this property unique

Its a unique mix of rustic and contemporary in its decor, with rural country living all mixed in. Enjoy!
