About this property

Welcome to our bach where you can start your day watching the sunrise on the deck with a coffee. The ultimate beach getaway - only takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach. Bring your 4x4 or motor bike to drive on the beach, boat, togs, fishing rod, buckets and spades. Whether you are after a relaxing weekend or a weekend spent fishing, kayaking or playing beach cricket.

Karikari Peninsula is famous for its beautiful beaches, great fishing, diving and the renowned golf course at the Carrington Resort. Carrington also has a winery and restaurant. You can take trips to Matai Bay, Rangiputa, or Puheke Beach. Also go explore Doubtless Bay, 90 mile Beach, Te Paki sand dunes or Cape Reinga.

The options are endless, you won't be disappointed.

Stunning views from the lounge of both sunset and sun rise. Decks front and rear for outdoor dining. Views of the ocean, farmlands and Pukehuke hill. Open plan kitchen, dining and lounge. With ranch sliders to let in the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. BBQ all set up ready to be used.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a door to sneak out for an early morning walk. The other 2 rooms have bunk beds (one being a queen on the bottom). Enough beds to Sleep 7 in the rooms. There is a fold out couch too in the lounge if needed. Kitchen has a dishwasher, gas top oven, microwave, and fully equipped with everything you need. No WiFi.

There is an area out the back to play some cricket. Yard is not fenced.

Bach includes 2 kayaks, a BBQ, 3 boogy boards and life jackets. All you need for a weekend away.

Amazing Views, Quiet: a place of tranquility, easy communication and above expectations

Clean, great value for money, Amazing views loved that the place didn't have WIFI it meant great family time and got to do a lot of reflection with my family. Communication was easy and I enjoyed our 2 days stay here. Thank you for letting us stay at your Bach I will definitely recommend for those who are wanting peace and quiet.

Everything was on clean,tidy, presented very well, just Miss Cyclone Gabrielle showed up uninvited

Great Kiwi Bach

Great place for our holiday. There were activities for the kids. Shower worked great. BBQ was good. Bach was clean. There's one however. We booked this bach because it was close to the beach. But didn't realise there would be road traffic on the beach. Went down on the first day and there were people driving up and down constantly. Some driving fast, some slow, and some doing burnouts. Fortunately there's some amazing beaches just a short drive away.

Terrible Stay Filthy property

Turned up Xmas day from Auckland, property was filthy, owner blamed cleaner who did not turn up. This property had a buildup of grim and dirt and old linen and was more than one day missed. Fridge dirty with food left in in. Stove dirty with grime in and out. Dirt and grime in the shower and toilet, bedding had not been changed, light fittings with flies' poop, dirty old rugs, kitchen disgusting, lawns not mowed, personal clothing in drawers, old toys in cupboards, ranchslider door groves thick with dirt, TV did not work. Asked for discount and she refused and said we were bullying her to get some funds back. I told her to keep the money. We booked for 6 people and only 2 stayed due to state of house. We had to wait hours for owners to travel from Kaitaia to clean. Property still was not cleaned to a standard acceptable. Two adults stayed and others went back to their family. All we wanted was a great holiday and unfortunately did not get. We were not listened to or valued. She recommends we go to a fully staffed motel 24/7 as baching is not suited for us. We do this all the time and this was a bad experience.

3 generation getaway

We all had the most wonderful time at Kerryns place. It was clean and nicely presented, an as new build, a safe space on the enclosed deck for the little one to play on was a bonus. We were suprised to find ourselves in suburbia but the neighbours were all in holiday mode and it really didn't matter. Very close ,easy walk to the beach for the the toddler and Grandparents alike, and what a fantastic beach it is! The write up is a for it is really true to life . We enjoyed exploring Whatawhiwhi, Rangiputa and surrounds . There is so much to see and do we will be back again, we are all trying to plan another get away already. Thanks Kerryn and Joel we really enjoyed our stay , we weren't ready to leave, we'll be back.

Amazing Bach and stay!
