This rental listing is for the large Ocean Side One Bedroom unit. The one bedroom has the private master bedroom and master bath with a pull-out sofa in the separate living room for the kids. You get a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. This comes with cookware and service for eight. There is a washer/dryer in the unit and a private balcony.

The floor varies and management will assign at check-in.

The Marriott Ocean Pointe resort has three large pools, a snack bar and a large garden and games area. We enjoy playing shuffle board or putt putt golf among the lush Florida foliage. Sheltered cabanas by the pool are free if you arrive early in the morning. There are plenty of chairs all day long.

The resort is direct beach access on a beautiful beach at Singer Island. Bring your own towel or chair to the beach or rent chairs and umbrellas. You can walk the beach for miles to the North on the island. We love to walk the inlet where boats go in and out from the ocean. Palm Beach Shores is a quiet walking community with shaded streets and many small cottages still around. Anyone who visits remembers the ambience at The Sailfish Marina for waterside dining and drinks. They have weekly night markets with vendors and a band.

The resort has family activities for children and adults. Guests enjoy water aerobics, salsa lessons, bingo, shuffle board, bean toss, movie night. The resort has a little putt-putt course. We enjoyed the wine and cheese meet and greet, trivia contest and broke loose for a line dancing class.

Singer Island is just five miles North of Palm Beach and fifteen minutes from Palm Beach International airport. Enjoy a day in Palm Beach for dining and shops. CityPlace is a hot entertainment district with dining and night life. We enjoy the dining along A1A or visiting The Gardens Mall area off PGA Boulevard. PGA was the original home of the professional golf association and you can find lots of golf.

Ocean Pointe has five buildings and a logical refurbishment plan. One building is renovated every year. I can request the most recently renovated building. Ocean Pointe is an older resort, and that means mid-rise, three pools and lots of land.

Incompetent Resort

From check-in to change of rooms for a subsequent reservation, which was a villa ocean side , no view (first floor, view of underground parking area & shrubs)...every request was ignored in spite of a early booking, speaking to reservations prior to arrival and a 3 week stay!!! NO pool supervision, chairs reserved before dawn (unable to get a lounge chair several days, constant children running & jumping into the pool............Room cleaning not a benefit under 10 day stays in the same room, ill fitting sheets (too small) popped off corner during the night! Although I had stayed here a few years ago, the incompetence of the entire staff was striking except for the engineer team for repairs, which we had several, which were prompt & efficient.............. I will not return.....not what I expect

Wow! Please look below that I have 7 reviews and they are all five stars. I am sorry that you had a bad stay. It seems like the Easter week was the problem. I talked with my friend who was there that week. The resort was 100% full, the chairs were full, and the guests were poorly behaved. Easter week had a lot families and lot of children. Guests love to go to Ocean Pointe because it is family friendly, with lots of activities. Unfortunately, When a resort is full of families for Easter Break, it can be harder to find a peaceful vacation. If you have the ability to travel for weeks other than the few school break weeks, you will have a better experience. The first week was a studio, the next week was a one bedroom. Of course you have to change rooms. They are different room types. I told her the best that would happen was they would keep her in the same building so she could move everything on a luggage cart. The one fact is that many rooms at this resort ( first and second floor) do not have an ocean view. Joann was there for Easter week. The owners occupying their own units have first priority over guests. Nobody renting a villa to you can really assure you of the best rooms in the resort. I always tell guests that rooms are assigned by management. The pool is the same for everyone. The beautiful beach is the same for everyone. Joan rented two weeks from me and she wanted to stay three weeks. I had already rented my Easter week and recommended that she rent from another owner on VRBO. She wanted me to just take care of it for her. Now, I remember that I searched for another owner to provide the Easter Week for her. I did not even have these dates available anymore. I did extra work to find the third week she wanted from another owner. It was a crazy busy Easter Week, and Joan ripped me for it. The positive side is that I will do extra work to help a guest find dates. Look at John B. for August, 2018. I helped to find a second unit for his sister to join the family.

First, a huge shout out to the timeshare owner, David! Responsive, helpful, and just overall great to work with! Next, the property - Just WOW! We have visited Singer Island once before, staying at the Marriott Singer Island Resort high rise down the road about 2 miles, and really enjoyed our stay, but it is a high rise complex and very isolating. Marriott Ocean Pointe is in a great location, everything you need right there or within a quick walk. We were visiting for business so I spent most of my day tied to a laptop and headphones, but what better place to be but sitting on a private balcony overlooking the pool/ocean, or better yet, spending the morning poolside at a table with umbrella, enjoying coffee, and catching up on email! While pool chairs filled up as early at 6:00 a.m. each morning, we were happy to see for the most part those chairs occupied most of the day. And if they happened to remain empty for more than an hour, security removed the belongings to open the space up for others. Pools are also heated (almost too warm!) Our villa was clean, well equipped, and just enough space for us to spread out to work during the day, enjoy some meals, and bed was incredibly comfy! AC was strong, and the water pressure in the shower was great! Complex is very COVID conscious, not once did I feel unsafe. Staff sanitize pool chairs after each use, hand sanitizer everywhere, and most people wore masks while up and about. 10/10 would visit here again especially for a business trip!

Something about Covid increased the demand for pool chairs as people wanted to escape from home, but did not venture out as much as normal. Glad that the free wifi and cell towers made WFH from the beach good for you.

The resort was very nice and clean and had so much to do for our two children (18 mo and 3 yrs). Plenty of space at the pool and nice short walk to the beach. David was an amazing host - greeted us with fresh fruit on arrival, helped with nearby suggestions, and even helped us out when we needed to stay an extra day due to weather cancelling our flight. Will definitely be back!

Excellent experience. Property was lovely, amenities and activities great. Beach beautiful ,several pools. Property manger was extremely helpful in organizing dates and introducing us to the area. Would highly recommend the Marriott vacation villas and this one in particular wonderful hotel alternative..

Why they chose this property

Marriott Ocean Pointe is an upscale timeshare resort with direct beach access in Singer Island Florida. There are three private pools and lots of chairs. The resort has a comfortable family feel. There are activities every day for children or adults. A Putt Putt golf course winds through part of the lush gardens. This is a place you can just hang out and relax.

The studio unit has a comfortable sitting area and a private balcony. The pull-out sofa is great for children. You get a large suite and resort activities for the same price as a room at a Courtyard. Every building has parking and a washer / dryer.

The one bedroom and two bedroom units have a private master bedroom and bathroom. They have a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The large living room is a place to relax and to stash the kids away at night. You get a private sleeping area.

You can also use Ocean Pointe for your home base to enjoy many of the South Florida activities.

Spend a day in Palm Beach to explore the history or the designer shops on Worth Avenue. The boat show in Palm Beach has hundreds of luxury yachts with a total value over $1.2 Billion.

All buildings receive complete renovations and new furnishings on a regular schedule. Marriott always delivers a quality hospitality product.

What makes this property unique

Direct beach access and three swimming pools. Many resort activities and games. Ocean Pointe retains a smaller family resort feel. Many owners stay for 4-8 weeks every year and the place just feels like a friendly and homey place. You start the week with a coffee, donuts and juice orientation in the great covered area.

Drive ten miles South to visit Palm beach with lots of city activities. Exit Singer Island to the North and enjoy dining, shopping and a several large suburban mall complexes.
