From the moment we entered the home we instantly felt calm and relaxed, the home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed and more. The relaxation space was a 10/10 and the pool was the best pool we have ever seen.A great stay for our family.
House is well appointed. Outside eating area, Weber & pool were fantastic! We found the location ideal for heading up to Pt Douglas & Cape Tribulation, Cairns attractions and Atherton Tablelands and waterfalls. Quiet neighbourhood. A lovely stay thank you.
This house really was a tropical paradise. The back yard was stunning and backed onto bushland with gorgeous wallabies. The pool was beautiful and warm, we loved night swims with the lights.
The house was clean and comfortable and had lots of thoughtful and well planned sitting areas and hang out spaces.
The hosts had excellent communication and were very easy to get in contact with.
It was an absolute joy to stay here, we would love to stay again in the future
We couldn’t be more impressed with this house. It is so well appointed, the kitchen has everything you need (induction cooktop and very nice pans for those concerned about cooking). Weber BBQ on deck too. Words can’t describe how beautiful the pool is. It’s heated to 29’C, deep at one end, lots of seating around it & surrounded by luscious canopy of ferns. At night we floated while watching local wildlife. Bedrooms are large with comfy beds, 2 living areas with comfy couches. Tiled throughout making it very easy to keep clean. Our host was very responsive, generous and friendly. They stayed out of our hair until we needed them. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We can’t wait to return.
From the front, this property looks very similar to the other houses on the estate. It is in a good location for Cairns centre, Kassandra and towns to the North. A vehicle will be required. The internal layout is probably best described as ‘unconventional’ and although you set off aiming for one room, you often find yourself in a totally different room all together. Very well equipped with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. Once inside - you start wondering where the neighbours went - with the exception of 2 of the front bedrooms all other window look out onto gardens and foliage and the huge covered deck with Gas BBQ, landscaped garden and large heated pool complete with large waterfall. The sound of the running water is hugely relaxing. If you follow the little path around the garden it brings you to a secluded field which seems to be a favourite place for about 20 wallabies! One word of warning if you are over 40 - think twice about sitting on the large grey beanbags, they are hugely comfortable and mould to your shape - so well in fact that they become very attracted to you and it is almost impossible to get out! The under 40’s will love them, but don’t let grandma try them unless you are happy to leave her there when you go!!.
Thoughtful attentive host.very enjoyable stay.
