This is a cozy cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood. The deck is great to hang and talk on a summer night. Also, the staff are exceptionally efficient and friendly!

Big Bear Cool Cabins
Cute tiny A frame. It was small even for 2 people and 2 dogs. My only complaint is the outdoor camera in the back faces directly at the jacuzzi. I understand the need for security but It felt very creepy

Great Location For Skiing!
We really enjoyed our stay in Big Bear! The cabin was charming and a good size for our family of four. Walkable to Bear Mtn for skiing without dealing with parking shuttles. Also, it is very close to shuttle stop to town for dining and shopping. Lots of stairs so be prepared to carry your bags up and down. The hot tub is nice, but there aren't additional towels separate from bath towels. Be prepared to bring your own or request additional. Make sure to ask at check in about which lockbox to access upon arrival as we arrived in the dark and had a hard time finding it.

I was looking forward to using the spa, but it was not treated and looked murky . The cabin had a weird smell, and when I looked under the kitchen sink there was a dead mice that was never cleared out it probably was there for a few months. I am surprised no one noticed or the housekeepers.

Property manager said AC was not listed in the amenities. I wasn't aware that AC wasn't a minute I thought it was a basic.
Video surveillance completely surrounded the property and pointed directly at the Jacuzzi.

Overall I'd rate our stay as good. Things we felt that could have been better: 1) Ice on the driveway and stairs made it dangerous for our special needs son to climb the stairs. Two of us fell on the ice. Fortunately nobody was hurt/injured. Yes the stairs had been salted but the bottom of the stairs at the driveway was a solid sheet of ice. 2) The back bedroom had no heater other than a small room electric heater. But with the slider to the hot tub in that room, the small heater was useless. Overall, a cute place but the ice was dangerous for everyone!!

Perfect location, walking distance to Bear Mountain. Cabin is very cozy and the hot tub is a nice touch for sitting in while surrounded by snow. A little pricey for the size.

This was a great place to stay. Lots of activities nearby but away from center of town. Only suggestion is to be more clear on location of lockbox. There are two and when we arrived late at night the correct one was less obvious
