A quiet getaway close to Perth. A great space to relax, catch up with friends. The kayaks were a big favourite for our stay, as was the coffees nearby at the Crooked Carrot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this house.
Overall great stay. Some of beds and hard pillows a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a great stay
Will recommend to other family members.

Hi Lorelle, I'm so glad you had a great stay overall. Sorry you found some of the pillows too hard. There are lots of pillows to choose from and extra provided so people can find one that suits them :)
We had a great time away, the house had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a great size and nice to have space to hang out. The fireplace was magical and so homely.
Perfect location and beautiful house. Perfect for our family. Felt like home away from home. Sharon the owner is super lovely. We had a great stay. Absolutely loved getting out on the Kayak. Was such fun. Thank you for opening your home to us. Highly recommended for a fantastic stay.
Nice place next to a lake. Abuntant bird life. Loved our stay. We can understand the necessity of surveillance cameras, but was off putting at the back.

Thanks for your review Heidi. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Please be assured we don't monitor the back cameras. We have only used them on two occasions to provide evidence when the property was left damaged. Sharon ☺️
We all enjoyed the accommodation, especially the location of the home which is situated right on a lake. The home had lots of entertainment for the kids including board games/basket balls/kyaks.
This place has been great, the boys and i loved it here! Was very nice to kick back and relax. The owner was very informative and kind. Thank you for the expirience!

We loved our 2 nights here!
Great little place on a lake. Kids loved the kayaks and having the firepit down on the water then heading inside to the woodfire by the TV. Cows located just about the rode amused the boys till it rained!
Thanks for a great stay
The property was very well advertised. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Very much appreciated the games, balls, and kyaks provided. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Fabulous property, as advertised, excellent design layout, well maintained, great location with beautiful lake outlook and outdoor space. House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with.
Lovely clean, spacious beautiful lakeside setting. Great stay for nature lovers. Definitely some snakes around so need to be respectful of this. There are cameras outside the property for security. Would definitely love to stay again

Glad you enjoyed your stay Michelle. Lots of wildlife around as you mentioned - possums, kangaroos, dragonflies, birds, ducks, turtles etc. However, we do ask guests to stay out of the long grass (particularly in summer) due to any risk of snakes. So far we have not had any problems :)
House is a clean 2x4 right next to a lake. The hosts have included everything young families may need - coffee machine, toys, books and kayaks (with life jackets). My kids loved the bunk beds and the theatre room. Plenty of room for 2 families of 2 adults and 2 kids.

Thanks for your review Heather. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay ;)
Wonderful place to stay for any type of group. Close to pub and cafe. Shower was nice and hot and the TV worked well. Two important things in a holiday home. Everything was great except that only the king bed was comfortable for adults to sleep on. We would have given 5 stars but for the beds. The rest would suit kids
A lovely house in a unique location, within a small estate with its own private lake that you can canoe and even swim in.
It also has an abundance and variety of birdlife.
And lastly, only a few minutes from the Crooked Carrot!
A lovely and quiet spot enjoyed with family.
House was clean and well equipped especially for our 3 year old daughter who enjoyed the books and toys.
Kayaking on the lake was great fun.
Crooked carrot is amazing for families as is the Old Coast Road Brewery.
Flies were a bit of a pain but that is everywhere and time of year specific so we used fly traps and fans to help.
