Quiet in the country

Off the beaten path, just a 10 minute drive from Gimli, MB which offers great shopping, dining, beach and golf course
Within a 1 hour radius of 4 other golf courses, Sandy hook (20 min), Teulon (30 min)
Inwood (40 min) and Hecla (60 min)
Come home at the end of your day and barbeque on the spacious deck, followed by watching an amazing sunset and bonfire with star gazing
Lots of birds to watch, the occasional deer may amble through the yard and you can watch the neighbors cattle grazing. Sometimes, one may check to see if the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
Besides reading and relaxing, there is a tv with dvd player, gaming system, board games and bocce.
Also close by is Camp Morton Provincial park with hiking trails as well as the little known Farmer's Beach, great for kayaking or tossing a fishing line.
At this point we are totally unplugged, no wifi or cable tv, but it gives you the opportunity to cut yourself off from the hectic world you left. Cell service is good.

July Long Weekend

We were looking for a clean and quiet place to spend the July long weekend and were very pleased with Witt’s End. The home and property are immaculate and well appointed. We really enjoyed the many birds that came to visit the bird feeders. Betty was quick to reply to all messages and very accommodating.

Making Memories

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. Our daughter was thrilled with all the birds on the property and we were treated to a pair of sandhill cranes flying over as we got settled. It was an unexpected surprise to find age appropriate toys for our kiddos ( 2 year old and 10 month old) on the property, so our kids felt right at home. The house was clean and had lots of great amenities including various kitchen appliances, binoculars for bird watching, a nice dvd collection, and plenty of linens. We were short driving distance from the wedding venue we were attending in Camp Morton and Gimli. Betty gave us a great recommendation to visit Boomers Funny Farm (not far outside of Gimli) and we had such a great experience. It was a busy and hectic weekend for us, but this cabin made things easier. Having a home base with A/C and room for our kids to play and explore was just what we needed to make some beautiful memories.

Amazing Getaway

Absolutely wonderful. Betty was a very responsive and gracious host, and the listing was very well kept and stocked. We would like to point out that the photos don't do the space justice! A true getaway to unplug and unwind. Will definitely come back!

loved this place!

We loved this place and hope to return! It is remote enough that you could get some great northern lights photos but close enough to Gimli that you can go shopping. The beach which is a few miles away was fun to just sit and enjoy or watch a sailboat. The rascally cows were great company as well.

Quiet and Comfortable Farm

Accessible host, immaculate, new home set on a farm with cows in the pasture nearby, birds continually entertaining made for a restful few days. Well stocked with anything you might need. Gimli with all its attractions and good food a quick drive away.

Peaceful retreat in the Interlake

Betty's place is amazing and peaceful. It is a short drive to Gimli. The house was immaculate and was outfitted with all our needs and then some! My kids loved the yard and the cows next door. Betty was an amazing host. Thanks for a great stay!

Wits end with rusted and cows

Home and property exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well kept. Yard was huge and cows next door would come near for extra bonus. Very quiet away from any traffic of the highway. Gimli and beaches within 10 min drive. Very reasonably priced def plan on returning.
