This custom craftsman style home is in one of the nicest settings of Lake Hartwell. It is located in the Enclave on Barefoot Bay Road. This lake home is very tastefully decorated and located in a gated community in the desirable area of Reeds Creek.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, larrge walk- in pantry and a gorgeous view from the breakfast room.

The main floor consists of large family room with vaulted ceiling, dining room that seats eight,
king size master bedroom that overlooks beautiful Lake Hartwell. The master has full bath with shower stall and soaking tub. Also, there is a 1/2 bath on the main floor along with mud room that has a 2nd refrigerator.

Above the garage is a 5th bedroom ( bonus room) that has 2 full size beds, two twins and tv with game system to keep the younger group occupied with video games, etc,..

The terrace is comprised of 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and an open family area.
There is an additional game room to keep the fun at heart group occupied with pool table, ping pong table and foose ball.

This home has an large expansive deck that overlooks the cove along with an outdoor fire place and TV to watch your favorite football team!
Paddle boards, kayak and inflatable floats included for you to enjoy!!

Our family rented this beautiful large home for my daughter’s wedding week. It was spacious, meticulously clean and comfortable. We all had spaces to spread out and plenty of areas to all be together too. We did not get to utilize the dock or lake based on the demands of the wedding and the season but plan on returning again in a warmer month with the family for a vacation. Highly maintained and owners are very hands on if needed.

Perfect spot!

Perfect for our large family yearly vacation! ALL the amenities and more. Mike was awesome and super easy to be in touch with….even needed a quick fix at the dock and he had a handyman there within an hour. Gorgeous home and property, quiet neighborhood and cove! We’ll be back for sure!

Restful, retreatful time at the lake

The home's position back off the lake & in a quiet cove made it a very retreat-like atmosphere. I enjoyed waking up rocking in a chair on the back porch watching the sun rise along the water. It was a very nice place to stay!

Family and Friends Memorial Day Trip...this property is meant for the true lake entertainer. This home has everything that you could possibly need and the home management is like your personal concierge. Everything is labeled with full instructions. You settle in fast and never want to leave. We can't wait to return. True 5 star experience.

Kids had a blast!!!

We had a pleasant stay at this Lakehouse. This is a beautiful location and plenty to do, including boating, lake activities such as swimming, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. The indoor pool & ping pong table were a hit. All of our children from age 3-12 years old said they had the best of time! Even grandma of 91 had a quiet and peaceful time as the home is spacious & offers plenty of sitting areas. We had a couple maintenance hiccups that were taking care of swiftly. Will definitely book again in the fall!

Graduation week

We absolutely loved this beautiful lake house! We celebrated our daughter’s Graduation from Clemson, her Birthday & Mother’s Day! Lots of good times & memories with family & friends! Mike was an amazing host and very responsive with any questions we had! The house is very comfortable and well appointed offering many things to do or just relax by the outdoor fireplace! By far the best lake house we have stayed at the past 4 years. We would highly recommended this lake house & would definitely rent again! Thank you!

A Little Slice of Heaven!

Such a wonderful time on Lake Hartwell with our large family! The lake and house are beautiful! Mike and Gina are so generous and helpful. They made sure that we had everything that we needed. Our days were spent on their spacious dock and floating in the cool water. Our nights were spent eating large family meals in their amazing kitchen and having fun together downstairs with their game room and pool table! We made some wonderful memories and the family is already talking about next year! Thanks so much Mike and Gina!

Wonderful family vacation!

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The home was the best-equipped rental any of us has ever stayed at, and we were so grateful for the pantry staples and kitchen amentities. The property was beautiful and private, and just the perfect place to relax. We also really appreciated the option to rent a pontoon, which was perfect for our family. We had the best time! Our only recommendation might be to indicate clearly that there are sorted recycling facilities available at the garbage drop off station. We would have been sorting our recyclables and collecting them separately if we had known. (This did not take away from our wonderful experience—merely sharing as a suggestion!)

Clean, Comfy and Relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful, comfy and clean, and had a wonderful layout that worked great for our family (4 kids ranging from 11 years to 19 years old). Everyone had their own space, and there was so much to do just inside the house that they were always entertained. Outside was just as wonderful. The walkway down to the dock is enjoyable and gorgeous at night, the dock is great, and the lake is so relaxing. I would return to this house in a heartbeat. We swam, kayaked, played pool and ping pong, and just down the road is an old state park with trails that were fun to explore. Oh, and the beds are super comfy. Thank you so much to Mike and Gina!

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!

Our party was a group of three families who usually vacation together at the beach. This year we switched it up and stayed here...it was WONDERFUL!! Everything was literally perfect! I’ve rented numerous houses and this was the most well-stocked and detail oriented property yet. Owner was on point and extremely kind. Even with two rain days all the kids had a blast playing pool and hanging out downstairs. Once the sun came out kids and adults we’re hanging on the dock, swimming and floating;) Great time by all!! Tip: try to get up before your group, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy an amazing moment to yourself on the porch overlooking the lake:)

Barefoot Bay Lakehouse on Lake Hartwell Ga.

This is an amazing lake house spacious and beautiful. We had a great time cooking and gathering in the large well-equipped kitchen. The porches overlooking the lake are awesome and great for morning coffee and watching the sun rise or gathering at night listening to music. All of the bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and bedding. I recommend adding the pontoon boat to your rental. We took the boat out 2 of the days we were there and had a great time tubing and finding a quiet cove to swim in. The floats and wake boards are also fun around the boat dock. The landscaping around the house is also well maintained and beautiful. We also spent many hours in the large family room downstairs playing pool, ping pong and foosball. My family and friends look forward to returning to 78 Barefoot Bay in the future and would highly recommend this house for you next escape.

Plenty of room and excellent location

3 families - 6 adults and 13 children stayed comfortably at this house. The house was clean and well stocked from the pantry to the bathroom. It also included every lake toy from floats to paddle boards. They even supplied beach towels! The porches were amazing to sit, relax and watch the sun rise. The kitchen had everything you needed and we were able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole crew. The dock was spacious and the water was clean and clear. We have traveled to several Ga lakes and Hartwell and this house was by far our favorite. Our only concern was with the downstairs AC. The last two days it didn't seem to run correctly. The temp reached 80. I didn't contact the owner until after we left but he was quick to respond. Thought is was an issue with the breaker. Overall extremely happy with our stay.

Wonderful Getaway for Large Families

This home exceeded our expectations! Mike and Gina have gone above and beyond insuring that you will have a pleasant stay at their home. It's very clean, tidy and has a very cozy feel to it. It's like you're visiting a close friend or relative. The beds are very comfy with nice linens and multiple pillows to choose from. They have labeled everything in the house for ease of use. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked, along with some sweet surprises for our little girls! There were 13 of us, ranging in age from 4 years old up to 66. We were able to prepare 3 meals a day for everyone. The kitchen is equipped to feed and serve a large group or family without any problems. Be sure to take advantage of the Traeger Pellet Grill! My sons smoked 6 racks of ribs one day and a pork butt on another. All of the basics that you need in a lake home are there: soap, detergents, well equipped laundry room, 2 refrigerators, a keurig and a coffee maker, bath/kitchen/beach towels, "water toys"/blowups/ kayak/ paddle boards, games, etc., etc. The backporch was our go to spot for morning coffee and evening chats. The dock was a great place to hangout, swim and play. We took advantage of the pontoon boat and rented it for two days. We had a blast! All the grandkids were able to go tubing for the first time and they loved finding secluded beaches for us to pull up to for some swim time. I could go on and on! So many good memories were made during our stay! Thank you, Mike & Gina!

Barefoot Bay

An amazing property that was beautiful inside and out! Our annual Labor Day gathering is always a special time for us with family and friends but this year was spectacular because this home had everything we needed and so much more to offer with the on site pontoon boat rental, pool table, ping pong, foosball and a well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend this property for a gorgeous and peaceful lakefront luxury vacation!

Paradise!

Our stay at Barefoot Bay was phenomenal! The house is very well appointed with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The lakefront and dock was beautiful. We had so much fun swimming from the dock, kayaking, and paddle boarding, which was all supplied by the owner. We rented the pontoon boat for a couple great days on the lake. We were a family of eight and had plenty of room to spread out. The grill and Traeger worked great. Mike and Gina were very nice and accommodating. Our family can’t wait to come back. House is absolutely wonderful, plenty of space to be together and apart for 11 of us. Grate location: part of small gated community with kind and quiet neighbors, 20 min drive to Ingles grocery store & restaurants downtown Hartwell, 7 min to Dollar General. Location on the lake is perfect too. The dock is in a small lagoon with only few other docks, safe for kids to swim away from boat traffic. It is also close to the major lake channel if you'd like to take a boat out. 3 out 5 bedrooms have a view of the lake! Kids (bonus) room was a hit. It is on top of the garage, so away from all other bedrooms. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all kind of pans, pots and appliances with many things you do not find in any other rental: 2 crockpots, 2 coffee machines. I even saw an ice-cream maker. All reviews praise the pantry, I am no exception, it is well stocked: sugar, salt, flour, brown sugar, corn starch, pepper, all spice, nutmeg, list goes on and on. Big Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful house.

Yearly trip

Fist time renting this particular home on hartwell but by far the best. We keep our boat at a marina on the lake and the owner made sure we had a slip at his dock while visiting since we came by boat. Communication with owner is immediate. We had no issues what so ever. You can certainly tell the owner wants you to be comfortable. The accommodation provided warrants the price. No complaints.

Felt Like Home

This house has everything. It was like being in my own kitchen they have everything you could ask for. Well stocked pantry 2 refrigerators 3 grills. We used the gas fireplace every night and the wood fireplace on the porch was a breeze to start with gas then shut the gas a enjoy. Plenty of firewood too.The house was very spacious 3 large bedrooms downstairs with their own bathrooms 2 game rooms pingpong, pool table ,foosball and corn hole with lots of seating with views of the lake. Mike and Gina were nice enough to decorate the house for Christmas this was my family's holiday get together . We all drove and this was a great meet in the middle place. We didn't go out on the boat or get to use the lake toys because we were there in December but we all think in will make a great summer lake trip.We were able to bring our dogs and I'm sure they will love swimming in the lake. My daughter was very happy to find a toddle life vest for the kids to go out on the dock and the boat is definitely a nice extra you can add on.The town of Hartwell looks very cute. We didn't go into anything but got coffee at a very nice shop called the Common Ground . We did a day trip to Helen and also hiked Tallulah Gorge state park both very nice.
