I wanted to leave a good review, but the lack of communication is just completely poor customer service. My husband and myself was totally ready to have an amazing end of vaca in NOLA. We got off our cruise and and started getting texts about his dad having been admitted to the hospital due yo his heart. He was being scheduled for heart surgery the following morning. We chose to drive 13 hours back home instantly. I know we were cancelling on the owner on short notice... it was the same day. I know you literally sign an agreement that states you don't get a refund, but I simply asked for cleaning services and tax be reimbursed at the very least. You get ghosted by owner as well as VRBO who doesn't give a rats ass. This is the last time VRBO gets my business and I will not ever be staying here either. Not that either of thise statements matter, but it does feel good to vent a little.

Great Stay!

We have been to New Orleans a few times and really enjoyed staying at this property. It’s right in the heart of the city and was easy access to most things we wanted to do.

Not our reservation

Even though we got a call of our check in the place we stayed was clean, the elevator near our room was down for most of the week. When it was back up and running we could us it for leaving but returning to the room because we didn't have access key to the elevator area. It was a quiet space even though we were one block off of Bourbon St. Easy access to RTA, which was a great way to get around town with getting Jazzy pass for the week

Rooftop Hike

We arrived at one building, go up 4 floors on the elevator to a roof. Walk down the roof to a stairway that goes up to another roof then follow a wooden walkway along the roof to a door going into the building where our room is (really glad we didn't have a lot of luggage!). Not the room we rented as that one had mold and water problems. This room was OK but the view of a rooftop parking lot wasn't all that inviting. Would never stay there again.
