We had a fantastic time enjoying this property. The house is secluded with a giant yard, hot tub and fire pit. Try be house was clean, well maintained and exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again

Peace and Serenity

This was a lovely property with such a homey feel. The area surrounding the home was amazing -- so private and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife out the large windows. It was wonderful that, with such a secluded location, we were close to grocery stores and activities. We will definitely be visiting again!

Everything about this place is amazing. Already planning our next visit. Has everything you’ll need. So nice that’s it’s also pet friendly. Plans were to go to WV for a festival, but due to vertigo we stayed right here. It was such a nice place to sit back and do absolutely nothing.

Wonderful Place To Stay

Beautiful home, beautiful location. Secluded and wonderfully quiet but not far from things to do. We loved the on site trails and there was plenty of room for our dogs to run and play. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. We would have rented the week between Christmas and New Year’s if it wasn’t already booked. We will definitely be back!

Cozy getaway!

This is our third time renting this home. It is a gem nestled in private woods. Perfect for a weekend away with easy access to numerous hiking trails. The large field next to the house is awesome for soccer or yard games to let the kids play and dogs run in between hiking excursions. The home is well maintained and a fully stocked kitchen which is very much appreciated making it simple to cook for a larger group. Looking forward to booking our next trip!

Secluded and beautiful

This was our second time at this property and we will book it again and again. The home is clean. The owners have thought of everything and even left a welcome bag! There are beautiful trails around the property and plenty of space for our kids to run and play games. It is very dog friendly, and although we did not bring our dog this time, we plan to bring him on future visits. My family loves this home and we cant wait to visit again!.

Fantastic property with unbelievable privacy. Definitely a dog lovers home with orange vest for their protection in the woods. Great paths that lead to the river that are not on AllTrails. A drawing of the network of trails would be nice.

Incredible Weekend Away

This house is nestled back a mile long gravel driveway that abuts state forest, so highly recommend to anyone looking for a secluded get away. There is a large clearing behind the house that brought deer through just about every morning and evening. Dense forest with exceptional foliage this year, surrounding the entire house. The house was extremely clean and cozy. Quick drive (<5 min.) to Herrington Manor State Park and Swallow Falls State Park-a must visit.

Best cabin experience

I can’t say enough lovely things about this property! This was perhaps one of my best vrbo experiences. It was amazing! From the moment we stepped foot into the home it felt cozy and warm as well as the views from the open windows around the house! The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t have to worry about a thing during our entire stay! Our host Ms. Kelly was super helpful and responsive to our needs before, during, and after our stay. The fireplace and hot tub were highlights of our stay as well. We even witnessed wildlife in the backyard of the property! We were so sad to leave our little home away from home but can’t wait to book again. Would definitely come back!

July 4th getaway

The house and views are gorgeous! I would love to see the property in the fall. My only complain is the lack of a/c....the sun blazes through those windows and by 3:00 it's uncomfortably hot. I knew this was a possibility, so we brought 2 portable a/c units to keep the bedrooms cool. The house is very well stocked, the trails are well groomed and we actually saw bears in the back yard! We will be back!

Wonderful Vacation Home

This house was wonderful! Fully stocked, clean, peaceful, away from the hustle-bustle. Kelly and Tom were so sweet, very responsive to inquiries, and very helpful. There were 8 of us, ( 5 adults. 3 littles) plus a fur-baby. PLENTY of room for everyone! Would LOVE to rent from them again!
