Great Winterized four season family cottage with enclosed sunroom that has large wood burning fireplace (fire wood not provided)for dining or relaxing.
Three bedrooms (4 beds) within the cottage.

Cedar Cove has a bright open concept living, dining and kitchen layout with vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light coming through all the windows from its south/west facing exposure. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, etc. Wifi, Bell Satellite TV; Netflix, propane fireplace and window a/c unit. Three nice sized bedrooms with baseboard heating, ceiling fans and large closets. Modern 3-piece bathroom with lots of storage; one screened breezeway on lakeside .Situated on a level lot with trees along property lines allowing privacy from neighbours. (Note: Although property is private, it is not secluded - there are neighbours on all sides). Located on Blythe Shore Rd., on Sturgeon Lake, on the Trent/Severn Waterway System and 5 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls and 10 minutes from Bobcaygeon, the Jewels of the Kawarthas. Explore all the towns have to offer; historical attractions, shopping, dining, the falls, lift locks and swing bridge.

You can also enjoy at the cottage or nearby: Large dock can accommodate boat up to 24ft - Fire pit - Large front yard for horseshoes, badminton and throwing or kicking a ball - Paddleboat with lifejackets - Aluminium boat with paddles; Propane BBQ (we supply the propane) - Boating, fishing and water sports - Golf, fine dining, shopping and antiqueing; large public beaches/playgrounds in Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon; Swimming areas a few minutes walk from cottage or a short paddle boat ride away - Nice public parkette with beach just a couple of minutes drive from cottage (Note: water directly in front of cottage is not suitable for swimming as it is soft bottom);municipal garbage pick-up and snow ploughed on road in winter

- We supply most bed linens - personal towels and bed sheets packages available at nominal cost.

Load and start the dishwasher

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

• Leave the cottage tidy, with all dishes and utensils washed and put away. • Remove all personal items, including any food from the fridge and freezer.

• Ensure the BBQ is turned off, scraped, and covered. • Pull the paddle boat, kayaks, and aluminum boat out of the water and turn them upside down on the side.

• Return all kitchenware and cottage items to their proper places. • Tidy up any outdoor areas you’ve used.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

No firewood provided for wood burning fireplace inside and outdoor pit.

Thanksgiving Break

A really excellent property. Great location on lake and not far from Fenelon Falls. The wood burner gives the property plenty of character and it is extremely well equipped. Would definitely come back again.

Wonderful cottage rental

We had a wonderful week at this property. It was exactly as advertised which we appreciated very much. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries and proactively provided all the information we required. The cottage is fully equipped and the information provided made it easy to bring only what we needed. Cottage is lovely, well kept and close to all amenities. We would definitely visit again !

Cute Cottage

Property Managers were very prompt with communications. Cottage was close to Fenelon Falls. Very nice view of the water from backyard. Cottage is well stocked with cutlery, dishes, etc.

Hi Peter, Thank you for choosing us for your vacation rental. Dated? The property is exactly as advertised, (as confirmed by prior guest) you complained about minor caulking in the sunroom which is part of getting it ready for winter. We were kind enough not to charge you extra for bring two dogs which you didn’t include in your booking, but yet you didn’t pick up after the dogs. The furniture in the cottage was rearranged which was not necessary, and few of our cutleries were found in the garbage. All the best! Pat and Harry.

Relaxing Fall Getaway

We all had a relaxing great time. The cottage was well-kept and equipped and has a great location protected in a small lagoon with great sunset views over the lake. With it so close to Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, it was perfect for us for last minute groceries, dining at some great casual restaurants and hiking the Victoria Rail Trail. We would definitely go back. Pat and Harry were very nice hosts and quite welcoming. Thanks again!

Gorgeous view

Beautiful cottage, we didn’t need to use the a/c with the large windows and ceiling fans! Our favourite was the sunroom as we had a couple rain days! Very quiet area with lots of geese/ducks to watch even a crane would visit.. the fishing was great for live bait right off the dock. We just enjoyed sitting and watching the water and getting out of the city for a week! It was a very relaxing week!
