Great place to stay and relax. Everything you need to here and the beach is just a walk away. Some updating is needed, the stove frypans are a bit grotty. Otherwise great stay.

Fabulous getaway

The property was perfect for our stay and the proximity to the beach was great. The house was comfortable and we managed to relax. Bryan’s Beach is a hidden gem and perfect for us to help celebrate a relatives 98th birthday.

Great location, awesome weather, saw bioluminescence at the beach, was looking for water activities as listed didn’t see any. No power for one day so unable to cook or clean. Was communicated but only 2 days prior so not much time to make other plans. Drove to opotiki for breakfast but nothing was open !

Lovely quiet location close to safe beach. Property was ideal when family visited for a few days. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we were perfectly cosy with books, cards and jigsaws. Grandchildren loved the big toy box.

Great location, super close to Opotiki where I was working. The house has everything necessary to be comfortable. The property manager was super helpful, going out of her way. The owner was very responsive and helpful to my questions and booking at such short notice. Beautiful views stunning beach

Relaxing break despite the Cyclone

We arrived in time for the cyclone - the house felt safe and comfortable even when the power went out and storm surge meant it was always high tide for a day. We still really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back in better weather - lovely place!!
