Thank you for your lovely review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the property both cozy and well-equipped. It's great to hear the location and cabin feel made your visit special. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!
The location was good. The house could have been cleaner (saw some spiders). There were 4 of us on a motorcycle trip and we had to leave a night early to avoid the hurricane coming through, so we lost a night and still had to pay all the fees that come with it (service , host fees). I insured the trip, but since it wasn't a forced evacuation they didn't help us. The communication was only through text with the management company.
Great mountain house. Great location. Well-equipped for cooking/dining in. Would definitely stay in this house again.

We enjoyed our stay at Laurelwood so much. 10 minutes from town, it’s a beautiful home. Even though we were so close to downtown, it seemed miles away. The front porch was our favorite spot, and spent most of our time there.
Would definitely stay again!

Like staying at your wealthy friend’s mountain home
Laurelwood was a pleasure for all, comfortable beds and chairs, big rock fireplaces, well equipped kitchen, elegant dining room, lamps where you need them, custom curtains and bedding -our interior designer friend recognized some pieces from a well respected interior designer in Highlands.

Thanks Ruth! Laurelwood is a very special home. Glad you enjoyed it!
We rented this house in July. It was very charming and cozy. House is a short drive to town. Note: not much of a view from the house. Would rent it again if so desired.
