Welcome to Paradise, located right on the beachfront in Beachside Towers II at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort!

This 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is located on the 2nd floor of our Beachside Towers. Offering stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy the beautiful emerald coast waters!

This unit was recently renovated and has beautiful wood plank tile throughout! The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The dining table has seating for 4. The living room has comfortable seating with a sleeper sofa, love seat and an over-sized chair with a large flat screen TV. The patio features great views over of the gulf along with seating for 4, a perfect to place to wind down after a long day at the beach!

The master bedroom has a King size bed, features a mounted flat screen TV as well as gorgeous views of the from the large sliding windows in the bedroom. The master bath features granite counters and a stand up shower.

The guest bedroom has a two twin-sized beds and a flat screen TV. The guest bathroom within the unit features a single vanity with a shower/tub combination.

Nice condo & we enjoyed our stay. The washing machine was quite loud when filling with water & we had to run the dryer twice to get our clothes dry. Other than that it was really good.

Nicely remodeled unit on 2nd floor of Beachside II. We thoroughly loved it here. Beautiful view of the gulf facing the quieter side of the beach (away from The Hilton). Small but adequate balcony where you could watch the sunset every night and dolphins every morning. Close to basketball court which was a plus for our teenager. Only downside was the pool was small (but quiet), no hot tub, and would recommend that you bring your own beach chairs and umbrella as rentals are $50 for 2 chairs for the day. We would come back again and stay here again!

Bad Start

Two days before leaving our unit was no longer available. Our new unit was not ready until 1635 it was dirty, things were broken, HVAC filer was completely filthy. Went to see a manager and finely later that evening got yet another Unit and was not told about the pool being closed and being worked on. One of the alternate pools was next to a bar 8 minutes down the beach and the other a 8 to 10 minute drive. Our room was nice and the view not to bad. enough though our first day was a lose we did have fun at the beach.

Good but room for improvement

Our family overall enjoyed the condo itself. The view was great and the walk to the beach and pool was short. However, there were several things we were not happy with: 1. The front bedroom is located on the front side of the condo near the walkway. We were prepared to hear people but it is also apparently next to the operations portion of the building. There was loud banging, that started early, every morning. I guess that was the reason for a box fan in the closet. We turned it on full blast to drown out the noise. This was not mentioned in the description. 2. The kitchen while nice looking, is not equipped well at all. A severely incomplete and dull knife set and not a single cookie sheet. There were just odds and ends in the kitchen. I made it work and cooked a few meals in the condo. 3. The beach is completely covered in rental chairs and they were never close to being full. People just put down blankets and their own chairs in front of the rental chairs. 4. The cherry on top was when the electricity went out for 16 hours! During this time there was zero communication about what was going on or a timeline for getting power back. I had to contact the resort through text because my calls weren’t answered. Fortunately we had purchased flashlights to explore the beach at night otherwise we would have been in the dark. This also resulted in the pool being closed and it was a double red flag day so there was no way to cool off when playing outside. We planned a last minute excursion in Panama City so we didn’t have to sit in a hot condo with no way to cool down. I ended up throwing our remaining food out because I was concerned about how warm it got. I do not plan to stay at this resort again, it was a frustrating experience.

Overall bad experience

We were informed four days before our trip that our condo was no longer available. An alternative condo was offered and if it was not good enough they would cancel. The original condo was on the second floor and the replacement was on the 16th. This was the reason we went with the first condo to begin with. I tried calling and emailing through the VRBO ap. I NEVER received any response or call back. This was very unprofessional. It was obvious we wouldn’t cancel because they waited to inform us days before driving over 12 hours to stay for almost a week. The condo smelled like fish, half of the lamps had working bulbs, the water heater randomly started leaking water everywhere. There is zero hand/ dish soap to be found. We had an inflatable boat and that was stolen. Also, the beach this is located on is COVERED in rental chairs. We will never use VRBO again.

Nice place on the beach

Furniture was very nice and spacious for 4 people. We cooked a couple of meals ourselves and found the kitchen on the sparse side. One dish towel with no sponge or brush to clean dishes off before putting in the dishwasher (which had left over spaghetti noodles on bottom from last renters). Kitchen knives were basically a few steak knives. Fridge has junky shelves on the door which resulted in several items falling onto the floor, one of which was a bottle of Bloody Mary mix which shattered. No mop and only one dish towel available so used several bath towels to clean up mess. There may now be a few towels dyed red. Bring coffee filters. Condo building has a large ice maker on the bottom floor which is very nice.

Nice Location

Talk about a great view this place has it. It’s updated nicely & have all you need for a good stay. The condo is located in a fantastic location from the beach, pool, basketball court, shops & restaurants! You have access to Baytowne with shopping, dining & amusement. Only suggestion is for the cleaning crew...there was hair all over the floors from previous guest.
