Awesome place right next to the estuary. Lots of amenities provided and the check in and out process was super easy. Ross is great at communicating too! Would stay again.
Great spot, went for a wedding. Close to Leigh, beaches and Sawmill cafeLittle hard to find as numbers not seen from road and a bit of a drop down from road to drivewayReally peaceful and well equipped
Location was so convenient, in front of bach it has an estuary which was picturesque, large back garden for children to run around. Overall the bach was so well looked after, and the manager was so helpful
The house was exactly what were looking for in a holiday home. The coffee machine was the bonus. Enough outdoor space for all activities. The kayaks were a great hit with all the little and big kids. Beautiful piece of land. Definitely booking again on our next visit to NZ.

Thanks Sharnelle
It was a pleasure to have you stay.
We loved our stay at this brilliant bach, which delivered on everything we were looking for in a short family break. Handy for Matakana, Omaha and Tawharanui, as well as our new favourite beach Matheson Bay, it is also a place where you can stay put and relax. The kids loved the board games, kayaks and the huge yard for cricket, while we enjoyed the outlook over the water, the excellent coffee machine and the space inside and out. We’ll be back!

So glad the place worked well for you all.
Thanks for looking after the place so well.
Lovely house in a lovely location halfway betwen Leigh and Matakana. Comfy beds, the decks were great for sitting outside.
Having an accessible shower was great for my mother - i would like to recommend an anti slip mat for the tiled floor.
Our stay was amazing, we had everything we needed and did not want to leave the property. The beautiful deck opens up onto the estuary where you can hop in the kayaks at high tide or sit at the jetty with your morning coffee. The house had everything we needed to cook, have a bbq and play some games and cards around the table. Straight across the road you can swim in the ocean with stunning farmland, mangroves, and views beyond. We would happily book again for another stay.

Bianca was a pleasure to host. She has great comms and she left the place so spotless we wondered for a moment whether she had been in the house! Joking aside I would highly recommend Bianca and hope she comes again.
I recently had the pleasure of staying this charming bach nestled in the heart of nature. The breathtaking location, cozy interior, and impeccable attention to detail made it a truly delightful experience. The fully equipped kitchen, spacious deck, and comfortable bed added to the overall comfort and enjoyment. The surrounding area offered a range of outdoor activities, and the owners' warm hospitality was exceptional. I highly recommend this bach for a peaceful retreat and an opportunity to reconnect with nature.

Thanks so much Pamlita for that lovely review. We get a lot of enjoyment from your enjoyment of the place and glad you appreciated the details we have put into renovating it. Hopefully you can come again :)
I booked both of Ross' properties to accomodate me, my fiance, our kids and our bridal party and it was one of the best decisons i made! The houses were awesome and there was so much space! The convenience was unmatched and everyone else agreed. Both houses gave us the feeling of home away from home and we all had a blast. Thank you so much! Would definitely love to stay again.

Kia ora, Our names are Anna and Ross Davis and we are originally from Auckland and have lived many years in Wellington. We are part of a large Māori, Pākehā and Moana Pacific families.
Why they chose this property
We bought the bach as we love sailing and mucking around on the water in small boats. We hope the kids love climbing one of the regions most beautiful pohutukawa trees, paddle boarding at high tide and even at low tide we love the long walks across the harbour. Bring old shoes or sandals.
What makes this property unique
Fully renovated, right by the water with own jetty and Whangateau harbour right across the road. Harbour is shallow and safe ideal for small children. Property is not fenced to the creek which is deep at high tide
