The Space:

Bethany Beach House is the ultimate coastal escape, designed for memorable family or friend getaways.



Guests can enjoy fabulous lifestyle amenities, including a fully fenced backyard, BBQ, fire-pit, a large front deck with bush views, and a spacious back deck with Jervis Bay water views. Inside, guests can cosy up in front of the toasty fireplace with a good book or a board game from the collection.



For the littlest visitors, Bethany features an extra kids' play area under the stairs, complete with a play kitchen, table, chairs, tee-pee, and a chalkboard.



Bethany is generously equipped with four comfortable sleeping spaces, including three queen bedrooms and a bedroom with two single beds. All bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated and outfitted with high quality bedding to ensure a blissful night’s rest.



The home also offers ample bathroom facilities, including a deep soaking tub, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Guests will feel like they never want to leave!



Conveniently located within walking distance to the golf course (5 min) and the white sands of Orion, Barfleur, Nelsons, and Blenheim beaches (10 min downhill, 15 min uphill), the Husky bike path, and Vincentia village shops (15 min). A short hike leads to the famous Hyams Beach, passing Greenfield Beach and BBQ areas along the way. For more adventure, Jervis Bay National Park and the quiet white sands of Murrays Beach are just a 15-minute drive away.

A special note about the home:

Bethany Beach House is inspired by our dear friend Jean from the Eastern Shore in Maryland USA (originally from Washington DC). We taught at a private school together many years ago. It was not long after we met that Jean discovered she had numerous breast cancers. This was shortly after the birth of her only son RTP. She went through chemotherapy and other treatments and a double mastectomy. Thankfully, she survived. That summer we rented a beach house on Campbell Place Bethany Beach Delaware and our special beach house memories began. This was 1995.



We have rented a beach house in the same street in Bethany Beach almost every year since then. I have travelled back from wherever I was working (Brussels, Melbourne Australia, Washington DC) to spend that special beach week with Jean and RTP.



Jean survived a second bout of breast cancer around ten years after her first. She soldiers on and we keep going back to Bethany.



We have made some wonderful memories from those beach weeks. Memories of a lifetime that last a lifetime. We are so grateful. I can remember RTP as a baby at the beach house. He is such an amazing caring young man teaching children at a local school, following in the footsteps of his mum.



It doesn’t take much to make for a very special holiday - a fully stocked house, your home away from home, beaches, nature walks, and shops close by, some comfy chairs, good books and games, and time to sit back, relax and enjoy each other’s company. It is the time you spend together that

matters.



We hope that Bethany Beach House Jervis Bay helps create your special beach week memories. While we cannot all be in Bethany Beach, we can recreate the loving and relaxing beach house feel for families and friends here in Australia.



It is time to give something back. To say thank you to the researchers who have helped Jean survive, and to help others who may be suffering from this terrible cancer or who are yet to be diagnosed. We will donate a portion of each completed booking to Australian Breast Cancer Research. We hope by giving back we may be able to help others survive and thrive, like Jean.
