Feels like an ‘out of sight, out of mind’ holiday rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was not clean on arrival. Rugs are heavily stained, the kitchen was full of ants, and the space was generally dirty. Not what we have encountered in other stays in the area. We also arrived to the front door locked, yet every other door (accessible from the street) unlocked - we could have let ourselves in regardless of the lock box.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice, well designed house with dishwasher, tumble dryer, etc. Easy walk from the beach, though not as close as some. Comfortable for two families with 4 kids in all. Gets a decent breeze. Good views of the valley to the north of town.Clean, which has not been our experience with other rental properties in Crescent Head.Strangely there are no ceiling fans, even where there would be space. Also, what's with insisting that the BBQ be used with a sheet of teflon between the grill and the food? It makes the BBQ into a low-temperature frying pan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very pleasant house. the location makes for easy walking to the shopping village. There are pleasant views from the front verandah and the small balcony off the main upstairs bedroom. Parking for more than one car is a bit tricky but manageable. The kitchen and laundry are excellent.The only downside was the badly stained carpet and lounge in the entertainment room. There were some electrical/appliance glitches. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic verandahs!

Our family (mixture of adult and teen children) had a very relaxing and peaceful week in this house located in a quiet street. Sit on one side of the verandahs for stunning views of the bush. Or enjoy the ocean side and sea breeze, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The house had multiple living spaces, ideal if one person wanted to watch TV while others could hang out in the main living area. Short walk to the beach and shops. Highly recommend this house for a larger family or two small families.

Large, convenient holiday house

The house was large, had a great layout and the balcony was ideal for relaxing and admiring the views. Only 10 minutes walk to shops and the water front. The house needs a little maintenance and cleaning. For example the BBQ was dirty, carpets were stained and Washing machine broken.
